    Yeah, is it ever a ubiquitous topic, but there doesn't appear to be a thread on it yet. So what's your current team in D/P?

    Mine:

    L15 Ponyta ** Clappy
    L18 Staravia
    L18 Bibarel
    L18 Geodude
    L18 Luxio ** Simba
    L19 Grotle

    I'm thinking I'll switch someone out for a Drapion and another for a second-gen poke. Geodude seems like dead weight, so he'll probably be one to go. Bibarel will probably end up my slave.

    Grotle lvl 24: OT: Some Japanese kid.
    Monferno lvl 23 OT: Me
    Staravia lvl 23 OT: Me
    Luxio lvl 23 OT: Me

    I usually only use 3-4 guys in a party because it keeps the training easy.
     
    I have a lvl 22 Luxio
    A lvl 26 Prinplup i named Empoleon
    A lvl 9 onix
    a lvl 11 bidoof
    and some more, i need help with my team though :\ I just barely beat the second gym.
     
    I haven't gotten that far yet, I'm only fighting Team Galatic at the Wind Mill place... I have a bad habit of picking up Pokes that I already know, so I will most likely use few new Pokes on my team. Here it is thus far:

    Zubat, Lv 12
    (While Zubat is one of the worst Pokes in its early stages, it's evolutions can be a bit beasty)

    Abra, Lv 13
    (Obvious, although this guy took me a while to catch, for some reason)

    Prinplup, Lv 18
    (This guy is surprisingly tankish! I just can't wait for it to evolve again. Water/Steel is an awesome combo)

    I've been trying to decide on decent natures for the new pokes, but I thought I'd wait a bit for the experts to come out with them.

    I felt like I needed a water poke and I'm not really into Shellos.

    Yeah, I've been wanting a little expert advice as well but I havn't been able to find any. I'm pretty much relying on statistics and what I've learned so far.

    Don't use Dialga... the noob quality of using a Legendary still exists in this generation, unless you go up against a Legendary team. Which I guess is more possible now with the WiFi. But still... save him for a Legendary-only team.

    Piplup (Peanut) Lv. 14 Obtained through trade-off with friend so we could get all three starters.
    Turtwig (Leon) Lv. 15 Obtained through the same way as my Piplup.
    Starly (Starla) Lv. 13
    Shinx (Sean) Lv. 13

    I beat the first gym leader using Peanut and Leon so that is the reason why they are currently at a higher level since I haven't had a chance to play since Sunday (Heroes and too much homework on Monday). Later on I'll add Riolu to my team once I get the egg.

    Going to catch and evolve:

    Eevee --> Glaceon
    Ralts --> Kirlia --> Gallade

    Gallade

    yeah, but i really like his element. but yeah i was thinking about that, and lately havent had time to pick a replacement. ill find one though. maybe steelix or lucario. (i see your thing says steel trainer. i too, love steel.)
    kricketot will evolve at 10 and start learning better moves.
    anyway, after i finish posting here, im gonna go play some more.
