Should this go in the "Other Games" section?

This thread is for showing a timeline of your life, the console sytems you've owned, & the games that went along with them.

1987 - I was Born - My parents own an Atari.

1988 - My Dad plays E.T. for the Atari with me in his lap.

1989 - My very own gaming system, the Nes! Mario bros & Duck Hunt heaven!

1990 - I finally get Zelda for Nes.

1992 - My folks buy me a brand new Snes, which came with Super Mario World & one controller. Later that year I get a GB - My venture in handheld gaming begins!

1993 - 1996 - During these years I laid back playing my Snes & GB. I truely miss those years of gaming.

1997 - The N64 has been out for about a year & I decide it's high time I buy my own crap. I save up enough money by (sadly) selling my Snes & some of my Snes games to buy the new N64. I actually couldn't part with all my Mario & DK Snes games, so I kept them. I still have them to this day.

1998 - My Dad buys a Playstation. He claims it's only for him, but I eventually get my share of PS heaven too. At this time my Dad switches over to PC gaming which greatly influences me.

    1999 - I hear about Nintendo's new system, "Dolphin".

2000 - PS2 is released - For some odd reason neither me nor my Dad gets the darn thing...

    2001 - Xbox & GCN is released. I get a GCN! My 1st GCN games: SW:RS2 & SSBM.

2002 - Me & my PC gaming habbits are at an all time high. Tsk tsk...

2003 - Now - Much gaming goodness. My gaming lifestyle is quite healthy I'm glad to report.

Not this should NOT be in other games because it regards the times at which you first discovered games...I congradualte you Tendo, for a thread that I'm actually interested in posting rather than the same old from every other member...

1994- My dad has a 286 and I play the original Duke Nukem and Treehouse on it.

1994- I move to pennsylvania. A friend invites me to play some games with him and I say sure. I play some Mortal Kombat, the first videogame I've ever played

1997- My parent's buy me a sega genesis after MUCH nagging from me, and I waste away my days playing Sonic and Knuckles and pretty much eevry other Sonic game in the world

1999- My parents get me a Nintendo 64, and I basically fall to the floor in excitment. My first game was Zelda: OOC, and it couldn't have been better.

1999- My parents buy a good computer (it was good back then) and we ditch the old 286. I play games on it like Starcraft and Worms and Unrel Tournament...heh

2001- After MUCH nagging again, my parent's buy me a Gamecube, and Super SMash Bros melee and Star Wars are the first games on it.

2002- I see 2 people playing DDR in an arcade...I instantly fall in love with it...

2003- My parents buy me a PS2 and DDR for my birthday...and I love the whole world...

I neglected to mention when I got the GBA but oh welll...I may have been a bit iffy on the dates thouhg, heh

    BOO ya!

Thanks, Dakota. I had hoped someone would find this thread different & interesting. Only problem with this thread is how much time a standard reply takes. Having to type your own personal gaming timeline is not for the lazy I guess. I had hoped I'd get more replies than this by now, because I really enjoy reading about others. That?s why I made the 1st 'Biographies' thread way back in November of 2003, which to my delight, got a lot of replies. :D

1999- My mom buys me an unwanted PS for my ninenth birthday. I play it a few times... I get into Pok?mon, and buy the yellow version, red version, and blue version. I also get a GBC.

2000- I get Gold and Silver, and for Christmas, an N64. The game I get for it is Hey You Pikachu.

2001- I get SSB, one of the best games I ever played. Um, yah, for Christmas i bought myself Crystal.

2002- I get a GBA, and Super Mario Brothers advance 2 or whatever it's called. I got..umm, that's it. No, wait, I got my GameCube, and SSBM, and Animal Crossing.

2003- I get my Ru/Sa games, plus a GBA SP, which I bought for myself for Christmas [notice a pattern].

As I conclude, I must say that mostly all of my games have to do with Pokemon...

    - (Insert TRIFORCE89's birth year here. I don't feel comfortable giving that out. But lets say late 80's) I'm born. To my knowledge there is already a NES in my house. (Oh and because I don't like giving the years, I'll just give my age at the time)

    - Age 2 - Start playing NES. I was incredibly horrible. I could get up to World 1 - Level 3 in Super Mario Bros. I also had Tetris, Blades of Steel and some Sesame Street edutainment game. That one scared the heck out of me. There was some alien with a huge head, tramatized me for life.

    - Age 3 - I played my first Zelda game ever. And believe it or not, I hated it! (Hey! How good did you think I three year old would be at Zelda, I couldn't get past the first set of Octoroks). Gets a GameBoy with Super Mario Land and Tetris (again).

    - About age 4 or so - I get SuperNES with a heck of alot of Mario games. My Mario obsession begins. And Nintendo (more specifically Mario Paint) gets me interested in art.

Okay pretty much nothing but Mario games for several years. Then I hit PkMn at age I don't know *thinks when did Pokemon come out? '96 I think?* So about 7 years old or so. Loved it, got addicted, memorized PokeRap, etc... And PkMn led me back to Zelda...

    - '97 - I notice Link's Awakening DX. "It looks like PkMn" I say to myself, and that's why I bought it. And because of that, I am now the Zelda Scribe that you see before you.

    - '99 - Gets Ocarina of Time. I fate is sealed and I am now officially addicted to Zelda for the rest of my life. My Nintendo obsession grows aswell. I aslo got quite alot of games that year.

    - 2000 - I preach the good word of Nintendo throughout my elemantary school. Huge binder full of GameCube information trying to convert people from the PS2. And I failed.

    - 2001 - Gets a GameBoy Advance and a nifty teeshirt that says "I got Adavnced at Toy "R" Us" Gets a GameCube on its release date. Also starts trend of getting games on their release date.

And not much changed from that. Gets lots of games, Zelda knowledge expands, and know I'm here.

I got nice computer bits in may of 2003, built a computer.. and had a nice scanner and internet. >:3 Im not a computer gamer at all though. Im retro. heh. I have a poop load of roms on my comp, but only the sega emulator really works. and keyboarding games are poopey. q:

My friend got a GC in 2003, but I didnt see him often and am no good with 3d platforms anyways. When i did see him he and his friend were usually brawling in Halo for the Xbox. I got to play Metroid Prime once for an hour!!1 while he was reformatting my comp. much fun for him. we had chinese take out too.
