I truly do not know where to post this, so forgive me if this is the wrong place.

Apparently, youtube has been on a massive banning spree as of late and take a wild guess what is now included in the banned list on there. Pokemon Hack videos. Yup, YouTube is now removing all Pokemon hacks and such, now. Most of mine are removed due to third party claims against copyright... Since the base of the game we hack is owned by Game Freak, they are claiming the games are owned to Game Freak. So, yeah... it just happened to me recently, three days ago. I lost about nine videos and one account on there.

    Proof right from Youtube itself.
    Youtube Servers said:
"Pokemon Hack Fo..." This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Game Freak. Sorry about that.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the situation over there.
Again. I apologize if this isn't in the right spot and if it's not please move.
    Thank you.

Wow, ever since Google bought YouTube it's been going absolutely downhill. I don't particularly watch ROM hack videos but I love ROM hacking itself so this really pisses me off. Sadly, they are technically right. Unless you develop your own game from scratch, a ROM hack is based off of Gamefreak's creation and they do have grounds to claim copyright. But I wish they wouldn't, they're just limiting people like us to be creative. Or at least, to show our creativity to the masses beyond PC.

btw I would have put this up in Other Chat or the Emulation board.

I agree with you on every since word of that and yeah this probably belongs in the Emulation Board.
