I was in the thread 'What are you listening to?"

I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to embed YouTube videos. Now with most forums you just have to paste the whole URL from the address bar in [/youtube][/.youtube] BB code tags.

With PC you need to put the v/_xxx1234 in order to get the video to play in the post.

I had to ask members for help on how to do this and waiting for them to reply.

I think you need to make it much easier to embed YouTube videos. The current setup is far to complicated for a new users. I just could not believe how hard it was, PC admins really need to look into this and provide and easier way of embedding. I almost left PC coz of this until a member helped me out. Please fix it.

You don't include the "v\" any more, just the end of the url :) Eg to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAtacHPAHLI, you'd type [youtube]RAtacHPAHLI[/youtube] =

Well it is explained in the BBCode guide, but I always have trouble finding this guide, as it doesn't seem to be in the FAQ, not in the top bar, etc. I have it bookmarked because it's such a pain to find.

That's a link to it, but I don't think that's clear. If you're looking for the rules for BBCode, do you really think you would say "let me check this box that I have never used for literally anything else in my history here", or would you check where the rest of the rules are, or the FAQ, or the "more links"?
