Yu-Gi-Oh hits the big screen?

    One week, I got a National Geographic magazine, and on page twelve it said
    this:

    "A Cinderella Story (above)
    hits the big screen in July,
    followed by Yu-Gi-Oh! (right)
    in August"

    Does this mean that there will be a yugioh movie in America?
     
    Oh really? That is cool! I love Yu-Gi-Oh!
     
    Kewl, but I would be scared that if anyone I knew was there from school (like with their brother or sister) , I would be dead meat next school year :(
     
    Everyone is just figuring this out. XD I find it funny that its all over the official YGO thread here, and its all over YGO websites, but people are just realizing it. I've seen two threads today about someone discovering the movie XD

    Yea, the movie is supposedly about an eight millenium item, and this guy who brings top duelists to his place, to duel them unfairly, and ends up turning Joey and the others into stone to make Yugi mad! (sound familar, anyone?)

    So did I, it's pretty old news, since January, or probably even before, but that's when I found out there is a YGO movie coming to the US. Anyway, Marik isn't in it because it's a movie written by an american writer. WB and 4Kids and teaming up to make this movie almost all by them-selves, except animation, which I'm interested on seeing how it turns out, hope they don't ruin the real storyline. There is a trailer out somewhere too, saw it a few weeks ago. The change is a little obivous, but it was really too short to tell.

    Spoilers yeah the 8th item is called the Pyramid of Light and it looks so totaly like a fake mill. item cause it looks like a glass right side up version of Yugi's mill. puzzle with a red and gold eye on it. and that last part you mentioned sounds like what Noa did. Oh, and guess what Pegasus is back for any of you who like him (personally I absotuly hate the guy)
     
    Actually, I was going for Pokemon the First Movie. Mewtwo brought them away to fight, fought unfairly, and turned Ash into stone. Just like this new movie
     
    All you Yu-Gi-Oh fans will probably hate me when I say this, hehe, but I wanted to point it out anyway. Did anyone notice that when a movie is made of a big phenomenon, everything seems to go down hill? I realized it a while back, and I'm not sure if anyone saw the same thing.
     
    Yeah, and the movie comes with a pack of cards, holding a blue eyes shining dragon, Dark magician ( new one ) and A Sphinx!
    The sphinx has 5100 atk! and you can only attack with it if you have 2000 life points or less. How cool, im English/jap. But I live in england, I want to watch it. ANd get those cards ^__^

    I was just thinking the same thing...
     
    I saw that trailer 3 times. At first, I thought it looked like a pokemon movie because i hadn't seen the characters in the trailer yet. I still want to go anyway, I love movies based off anime. Don't ask why. More Yugi! Yay!
     
    HELLO TV Tome revealed the Yugi Movie's existance months ago were you people asleep or something (I like Kaiba he sounds like an evil brock)

    Cause the guy ( eric stuart ) Who did Brocks voice, did seto, and also james, squirlte, and Mewtwo ^-^
    I knwo alot about Seto >=D 1 thing is that he is to darn cute
