If you are looking here, then it means my title was successful in drawing your attention. Anyway, here we are.

This is small tournament me and Dragonomega decide to host. The tournament needs at least 6-8 people to run with some success. We would like as many people as possible to join, to make this even more fun! So grab your decks (if that's even possible online) and get ready to duel! The tournament duels will be run on Yugioh Virtual Desktop (see below if you don't have it), and we will run it with a Swiss format. To start, there will be one round, where everyone is paired up randomly. After that, there is the 'losers' chain, and the 'winners' chain. The winners of the first round move on to the winners chain, while the losers move on to the losers chain. There will be one round a day, to make room for the different time zones of the world. Hopefully, if enought people join, we should start this tournament by Saturday 13th November GMT. There will be one round per day, as before, to make room for the different time zones. The winners and losers of their respective chain, should post their results after the duel has ended. The results will be updated on this first post. The results for each entrant shall be tallied next to their forum name, along with their tournament board, like this:

    *firestar*: (LOSERs board) Wins: 2 Losses: 1 - 1st
    dragonomega: (WINNERs board) Wins: 3 Losses: 0 - 1st

    Rules:
    -Follow all PC rules
-Do NOT cheat. If you do cheat, your opponent should PM me, and you shall be disqualified (and miss all the fun)
-Have fun and REMEMBER, it is only for fun, its not overly competetive.

So there it is. And here is the entrant's list:

    1. *Firestar*
    2. Dragonomega
    3. Cirrus
    4. WildEagle
    5. Applejuice
    6. (Zeffy) ???
    7. Mew~
    8. ???

    Thank you!

    Bahaha.

    I'll enter. (?)

Does it HAVE to be YVD though? I find that YVD really isn't stable, and it tends to crash fairly often.

I would enter but I'm not use to playing with YVD :(
I use DMG to test my deck sadly >.<

Yeah! I use DMG too : D It's just so much more versatile, and you can always basically find someone to test with, as the servers are always pretty populated.

Plus since you can watch duels they can be verified by someone if anyone is up for that sort of thing. : o

Yep, that's why i use DMG, alot of people comes there and you can never run out of someone to play with xD

I'll join up, sure. But if my foe has DMG, can I duel him there?
I'm also really busy tomorrow, so if you can set up a duel with me at around 6-7pm that would be nice.

Were using DMG anyway (: And don't worry, I'm also really busy tomorrow, if you have MSN just PM me it, I want us to get to know each other... if that makes sense >> xD

Well, we have to decide what System we're using. So we shall have a vote, I believe is the fairest way to decide it.

    DMG: 1
    YVD: 0

DMG is quite easy to use, once you have the basics. Find your opponent and duel. A more realistic and secure way of duelling, since YVD crashes a lot.

Not all computers appreciate DMG, though. The opposite happens for me. YVD works fine and DMG...crashes and lags..A LOT. xD

DMG is approximately the same size as YVD, so that doesn't make a difference. Plus YVD crashes a whole lot more AND you can use cards from Storm of Ragnarok and Starstrike Blast. You can't with YVD.

    Wait.

    What?!

    How. @ Zeffy.

Download this and generate a quick report in plain text or whatever; I'll check it out.

Drop me a PM with the plain text file or something.

Duel Monsters Genesis is about the stablest piece of software you can find.

I have an old, crappy laptop that lags almost everytime. So the reason that DMG crashes for me is that...darn old laptop. However stable DMG is it still crashes and it doesn't work. I guess I'm passing this.

Ah, that is a shame. Do you have another, like, main computer? Or desktop computer?
