I got this game yesterday at a used game store for $18. I saw it, was interested, and thought the price was fair, considering I spilt the cost with my sister.

I had a feeling it might be cheap and/or difficult, and boy was I right. Not so much cheap, but VERY difficult, and it kinda gets boring cuz all you do is duel, and there's like, no action or story.

Does anyone else have this game? And can someone recommend a good Yugioh game for either GBA, or Playstation 1 or 2?

Isn?t that terribly inaccurate to the game rules too? Almost any of the GBA card games are much closer to the real thing, at least I think. There?s so many out nowadays. @_@

    Yea, it is inaccurate.

I saw a GBA game, and I looked through a walkthrough book. It looked like it followed the storyline. I may go get it later. I wanted a PS game tho..for the better graphics. Oh well

It's not meant to be like an actual card duel. It's supposed to be more like the Virtual World/Dungeon Dice game without the dice. I like the game, because I collected most of the cards in that game. Also, if you want a game that's actually a card game get Sacred Cards(???), I think it's called. It's the remake of Duel Monsters 6, which I think is the best one.

The rules are awkward. Those rules were created in Asia, relating to the Dungeon-Dice Game, just with cards and without dices. All the main characters are royal members of the past England or Europe, Its an extremely hard game to comprehend unless you live in Asia where the Arcades there have these Yu-Gi-Oh games. The GBA games feature the official rules without causing you to shout to your opponent, like Worldwide Edition and Eternal Duelist Soul. But The Sacred Cards have the awkward rules too but with the story as the episodes on TV (eg. When Yugi versus Joey, whoever loses is pulled under water [except instead of Yugi, its you]), I have all the ROMs but not Dark Duel Stories. The PSX games have the bad rules where you have to fuse Elemental monsters with a type of Specialty like Rock with Warrior, of course eiither makes a rock or warrior type monster. I'd prefer Worldwide Edition or DUelists of Roses.
    Worldwide edition
    Positive
Features official Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game rules that are easy to comprehend with if you play Yu-Gi-Oh for real. it provides the cards that were created just after the ones only transferred to Australia and New Zealand.. and don't forget, you are NOT Yugi.
    Negative
You can receive extremely rare cards easily by typing in codes (only once) or looking F.A.Q sites for the directory of boosters and its cards.. And if you have it on ROM its even bad, you can Save before choosing a booster, and if you don't like it, you can load back..

    Duelists of Roses
    Positive
Great graphics, good sound effects. If you play a lot of Adventure games, this is the perfect choice.
    Negative
Confusing rules, controls. And you need to know worldwide history to understand the storyline, Yugi is Henry Tudor and Pegasus is J.Crawford.

I have that game, I liked it, but now it's boring, I beat it already :P I like games that you cannot beat.

    I rented that game the first time I rented a Playstation 2. o.o; I played it for about 30 minutes and gave up because I was so bored - the tutorial mode in the beginning took so long and I didn't know how to skip it, if I even could. Plus, I wasn't very good at it, so I switched the disk to Kingdom Hearts and... never looked back. xD;;

I quite like most of the YGO games for the GBA. o.o; The Sacred Cards is really good for the adorable-ness factor of the sprites, or for the plotline, but it's really easy to beat - if you wanted to, you could probably finish it in one night. And the cardplay is pretty bad. XP WWE and the other games that aren't sprite/RPG based are great for cardplay, though, and fairly accurate I'm sure.
