    Hello there,

I'm a new member, obviously. I'm 19 years old, and I've been playing pokemon for a while now. I'm originally from Kuwait, but I moved to Canada for education (university). Unfortunately, I faced many social obstacles, so I couldn't blend into the society. I've been in Canada for 3 years, yet I haven't made a single friendship.

Although some of you might find it attractive to blame me for my situation, I have tried hard to socialize, but people keep rejecting me. Therefore, I decided to turn into what I find best: virtual worlds. That's why I'm here.

Forums have always been the best place for me to build relationships. I met half of my good friends in forums and now we communicate in "real life".

Certainly, I'm hoping I'd make some good friends from here. Even if the distance was an obstacle for us to take a relationship (affairs of friendship) to the next level, internet is good enough.

Please, if you think I've done something wrong or been rude to you, notify me. I would highly appreciate it.

Thank you for reading this :) We'll hopefully talk soon.

Well, I can most certainly assure you that you shall not be rejected around these parts, Phixum. The Pokécommunity is a pretty great place to make friendships, if I do say so myself.

I can understand, it's hard to socialize when you're not quite familiar with your surroundings. It's incredibly difficult just to go to school and get by, let alone try to make friends and have a social life. I don't think anyone should blame you for that.

All that aside, I'm certain you will have fun time around the ol' PC. We have all kinds of discussions you can partake in and quite a few people in who you can make your friendships with. Just post around a bit, get a feeling for the boards, and I'm sure you will begin to see the friendship requests begin to pour in.
(If you don't already receive quite a few from this thread alone!)

    Welcome to the community!
We're certainly glad to have you.

    Take care, Phixum.

Thank you for the warm welcome, Hiidoran! I highly appreciate it :) and thanks for your support.

Actually, I can strongly relate, Phixum. See, a year ago, I moved to here, to Florida. And being completely new, far from my well established friendships, I struggled to really fit in. I'm in online school, so social interaction isn't the easiest thing to come by as 1 2 3, either. XD; (But it is partially my blame, I suppose) So yeah, I understand where you're coming from. And really, PC is an awesome community to establish friendships and enjoy a great time. Activity and posting around are a huge ingredient though, so that helps, too. PC has countless ways to establish and reinforce the "community" part. So getting involved in the wave of topics and threads, enjoying your stay, and everything should go by just great.

    Any questions or just wanna chat, drop by a message on my profile. XD;

Welcome to the forums, Phixum. (b' ')b

Thanks BeachBoy XD Yeah, I've heard a lot about PC. I've been into other forums, but not many users were active, and the active ones were lame. Here, this is no problem, the way I see it =D

Also, I like the "blog" application in PC... I've always wanted to have a blog :x

Hi Phixum! Welcome to PC, I am very new here, too. (I registered yesterday)
I can understand how you feel .. and I hope that you will find good friends soon!
