well, actualey i once read a japenease zelda manga and it showed that links father was slaughtered in battle, and links mom tries to save him, and gives him to the deku tree in kokiri forest and then dies herself.

well, thats how the OOT links parents were, im not sure about the other links

That could be true, since there's a reference to that in Ocarina of Time...

Today's Question: Just how many Links are there, anyway?

I've seen numbers from as few as two to as many as seven!

A Link to the Past (hereafter notated as LTTP)
Four Swords
Four Swords Adventures
Minish Cap
Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons
Link's Awakening
the original game
Adventure of Link

Wind Waker
Four Swords (Wind Waker Link version)

Now, my explanations for each Link:

Link #1: His first adventure is Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask occurs some months later. The new GameCube game also seems to fall in this timeframe, because we have seen Link's faithul steed Epona in several screenshots. The new game may also include the famous "Imprisoning War" alluded to in LTTP.

Link #2: He is born 50/75/100 years after the events in Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask. LTTP is his first adventure. After the events of LTTP, he travels the world in search of adventures. While we don't know exactly how many adventures he went on, some of those adventures were Four Swords/Four Swords Adventures, Minish Cap, and the Oracle games. Link's Awakening occurs on the way back to Hyrule. Upon return to Hyrule, Link discovers Ganon has somehow busted out of the Scared Realm and captured Zelda. The original game occurs here, and Adventure of Link occurs several years later

Link #3 is born hundreds of years later, when all of Hyrule is submerged under the sea, save for various islands. Wind Waker occurs

I have a cd to Majoras Mask and I love the Deku Palace music!
 
Me luv the OoT Music, and some of the MM. Did you know I have played many Zelda games, but I don't own a single one, my good friend lets me borow the for weeks, he sometimes doesn't remeber who he lend it to, because he has all the consoles and many MANY games. He should make some rentting stuff. Well I hope the site helped! :D

I did!

My cousin still has some tapes of them, and we watch them, keeping track of how many times Link says "Well, EXCUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!!" in each episode. Our only rule is, he has to say the whole thing or it doesn't count
 
I had no idea! I wish I'd seen some of them! Is he old link or young?
