We don't have too much supporting that this'll be a sequel to OoT. What do you mean the sequel to OoT. The? Was MM not the direct sequel? Was TWW not another sequel? One would think it'd be TWW's sequel as in the interviews there's the frequent mention that Link is now an adult. But, I don't think it's for TWW. Seem awfully quick for the Great Sea to have resided. Why a sequel to OoT? Not that I'd complain, but there isn't a hole to fill. I've been thinking baout it being prior to OoT for awhile but I'm gebinning to leave that. I think prior to ALttP but after TWW.
The fans wouldn't have made such a big deal about TWW's graphics had Nintendo never shown that Technical Demo at Space Worl 2000. Fans took that as a "promise" of sorts that tha's what we were getting, while in reality that was never even a game. Had that never been shown, I don't think ther would've been as big a fuss. I'm sure there would've been one, just not as big. Fans wer upset because they weren't getting what they were "promised".
Zelda isn't ever going to become what Mario has. I find hard to believe that one day we'd have Zelda Tennis, Zelda Golf and Zelda Kart. Or even a Zelda DDR at that. No, that won't happen. Sure, it's had it's spinoff series (FS), but that was still a great game game that played like Zelda, no go-karting with monkies or anything like that.
As for length. MM was short because they wanted to start working on their GCN titles. TWW was short, I'll admit. It was going to have more dungeons but they were removed. What happened to the good Nintendo days when everything was delayed? FSA was a filler game so there should be no complaints about it's length. But the Minish Cap I am upset about. It was in development even before they started the GBA port of ALttP. They've had all this time and this is how long it is?
