    Hello,

I am an N64 Zelda Ocarina of Time assembly hacker and modder. I have a project going on with Zelda OoT, but I figured I'd give a crack at Pokemon Gold, and came across various tools searching around.

I do assembly hacks, and I am willing to share discoveries, and basically just modding Pokemon Gold for my own personal use, but I plan on making a full-on mod for fun sake.

I will post my mod in the appropriate forum, when I get some stuff together. I will need to do more work on it before I do though.

I'm one of the main assembly hackers in the Zelda OoT community, as well as some notable others. One of the lead hackers that made things easier/possible for the community is quitting these days, so the community is lagging lately... I decided during this time to try my hand at other things while my OoT project hangs on some needed testing.

Zelda hacker, eh? That sounds pretty cool! I assume you're a Legend of Zelda fan, huh? Riiight now I'm playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS, but, haven't played it much because of Pokemon X&Y. Buuut I'll get back to it eventually.

Anyway, do feel free to check out the Hacking board in this forum, you'll find loads of people who are fellow hackers, and maybe give you a hand with things! Anyways, I do also hope that you'll check out the rest of PC's activities, and have a good time! If you need any help, feel free to contact a staff member, or any member willing to help. ^^

Sure, we all have our favorite games. I find hacking GBC is just second nature at this point. Figuring out how to do more extensive things should be fun.

    Hey, welcome to PC, Airikita!

We have a lot of nice hackers here and many of them are so talented. :) I never did hack any games but I enjoy playing through our many Pokemon hacks in the Emulation board. Always impressive to see how much time and effort was put into all of these games. If you're into that, you're really going to enjoy partaking in that board and contributing to all the discussions. Looking forward to having your mod up and posted, too!

Sorry to hear about the lag going on over at your other community.. sadly that happens and there's not much you can do. But I'm sure you'll have a pleasant stay and will be able to involve yourself in hacking-related matters here! Have a wonderful time on PokeCommunity. Let our staff members know if you need some help along the way, all right?

Thank you very much... I did post my mod on the Progressing Hacks board, but it's awaiting approval.

    EDIT:
Also, if anyone is curious as to my level of hacking experience, I am one of the lead hackers in OoT (there are few and many of us), I have discovered some gems, and do extensive Actor/AI hacking:
    Spoiler:

I have discovered a few alpha/beta items, plus I'm able to learn most assembly-related things. I can learn many ways to manipulate the code.

    Especially custom items:
    Spoiler:

I sure lots of members here have discovered things in Pokemon games, as I have been watching things on it on Youtube.

Who knows? Maybe I'll make a tool for Pokemon GBC games, I'll have to see if I make a tool. I feel like I might make a tool for music.
