I translated a ton of information on Pikachu-colored Pichu event that is going on in Japan, unfortunately though I am apparently not allowed to put the link up until I have 15 posts T_T Inside of the text, it says that the Pikachu-colored Pichu event will be given out for Pearl, Diamond, and Platinum :)

It is good to know that it'll be handed out in Diamond and Pearl too. That solves the problem for the people who buy the new GSDS games, but don't have Platinum and still want to get the Notch Eared Pichu.

Actually in the originals you were able to catch both legendaries in both games I believe. Ho-Oh in the Tin Towers and Lugia on the Whirl Islands, that was why they were both so important before. Anyway, another distorted world I think is asking a little too much and I don't think it'll be needed.

This amount of information, I wonder why they didn't reveal anything else like the past few Sundays [/well, we still have a long way to go until the release, so...]

Around the closure of the game's release we'll have a lot of news, just like how it was for DPPt.

Yeah... nobody will yet be sure on whether both Lugia and Ho-oh will be in each game or not. Considering in GSC they were, there's a chance it'll be that way this time around as well.

And another Torn world? Unless they go and change the plot somehow so that you go into alternate dimensions which kinda has naught to do with Lugia/Ho-oh/the legendary beasts... yeah, doubt that'd happen. =/

They also won't release everything there is to know about the game until it comes out, I bet - some stuff we'll find out when it's released. And some stuff closer to its release.

Yeah, i don't think they will release a lot until the real game comes out, November is my month for my birthday XD

Most likely yes. They'll also probably announce an enormous amount of news about the game a few days before the game comes up.

Yes, hopefully it will. Maybe they'll release some of that in their next show or maybe CoroCoro scans will say something about it.

It might some have said. Though, this doesn't really need to be a sticky because it is just news, as there will be another thread for the extra news that come out later on.

Anyway, yeah CoroCoro might come out early to mid June, so expect some new information definitely. I hope they elabortate more on the extention of Johto afterwards and more on Pichu and how it'll be obtained in the US, UK, and the rest of the world. Though, I won't expect that until it's released in other countries.

I think a lot of people will want this Pichu, or maybe it might jsut be me. Anyway, hopefully even if the Pichu is going to be caught in-game (perhaps) I'd hope it comes with a special move, such as Volt Tackle maybe.

Thunder on the Pichu that they showed in the video isn't something that will amaze me too much, as you can simply by that in a store from a TM, but Volt Tackle is only gotten through breeding a Pichu with the light ball, and since I'm guessing there isn't anyway to get the Notch Eared Pichu through breeding, it'll be better for it to have Volt Tackle.

We are speculating on last Sunday's Pokémon Sunday show. they revealed the new s on the Notch Eared Pichu that becomes activated when the Pikachu-colored Pichu is traded over from DPPt to these new remakes. So, I said that with the Notch Eared Pichu they should give it a special move like Volt Tackle, and someone stated Thunder, so it is just speculation on what we've seen on the video.

By the way, you can watch it on the first post as well.

    This sounds really good.
A little link between games, a nice touch.
The screenshots they give out spark a lot of conversation, don't they?
