    Did you try finding the location of the pallete in a clean fire red rom then replacing the pointer in your hacked version?

    I know this is in the FAQ but that just doesnt quite cut it...

    I recommend using LunarIPS (http://fusoya.panicus.org/lips/download/lips100.zip) instead of IpsXP I hope this helps

    Great hack, But i do advise you the only thing that killed my gold remake was Scripting (and my hard drive crashing but thats different) so make sure you can script the original movements etc.

    The best thing to do is release a public beta with around 2 towns in it to get feedback then provide the secceeding betas to your beta testers.
