I like it when someone does more than just edit the text with a text editor, change maps, and add fakemon. Thats a good first step. But also, the hack has to be enjoyable to play, fun, a little challenging... and it can't make my eyes bleed with bad graphics, either.

Favorite professor? Mine would be Prof. Birch, he was the professor in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and those were the first Pokémon games I actually understood (I was too young to really know what was going on in Pokémon Red/Blue)... but Oak comes in at a close second, cause he was the first...

I start out with an idea, then I'll create a more in-depth storyline for it, which includes Gym Leaders, Elite 4, evil team, rival battles, etc. After, I'll start spriting, then inserting those into the ROM, and edit anything else (like Fakemon stats, etc.). Then I'd develop a rough region map...

That sidewalk/lighter grass in the one town is still pretty bad, it doesn't look good with those darker-colored tiles... =/

You could upload to a file hosting site like Mediafire or Megaupload, then you could post the link, and then he could download it to listen to it.
