I change my outfit and hair all the time, but this is what I've got going on for now. ^^

If I'm running around a patch of grass and whatever I'm looking for hasn't shown up...I have to change directions and run up and down instead of left and right, or vice versa. Or maybe they're all hanging out in the grass on the very edge or the bit in the very center... Maybe it's weird, but...

This happens to me sometimes in all kinds of different games. There are a couple that I have that I've never made it all the way through, because I'll get halfway, then get distracted and when I get back to it, I have no idea what's going on anymore. So then I restart it...and...well. I've...

I'll go through like I always do with new games; keep my starter all the way, and catch Pokémon that I think would be interesting to use. I also try to use Pokémon that I haven't used before if I can.
