Hah, obviously they'd improve it. Say it had improved graphics and each Pokémon had clearer (possibly larger) models. Wouldn't it be interesting to see on the 3DS? ;D

It's not a glitch. It was implemented into the game intentionally.

The battles are a lot harder for me :/ My lvl 22 Chaobuu almost fainted to a lvl 14 Otamaru... yeah, I know :S And I actually lost to the first Gym Leader once, and some of the trainers inside the Gym. I HATE Bide >:
