The 2D graphics of RSE/FRLG are really good. I don't like the "3D models" of the last games because they look messy and they're not really smooth (Maybe it's just the rips...I don't know).

Actually, the first video game I ever played was Super Mario World. I found it awesome and spend a lot of time on it. It really well done and the musics were catchy. I never was able to finish the ghost level though, I guess I was dumb. XD

The best way to keep a computer fast is to install only trusted programs in it. Also you can disable useless services and program that comes up at startup, running 'msconfig' in the search windows bar.

You can install windows 7 on a Mac too. I don't see any reason for not you to buy one if you have the money. They're pretty good computer and gives cool performances. Anyways, if it was me, I would just bought a Lenovo Thinkpad. They're awersome.
