A shiny Voltorb in Gen2! I think near the power plant?? I remember not knowing what shinies were, but I saw a blue Voltorb and KNEW I had to have it. Of course I don't have it anymore since the game wiped itself, but it was very exciting!

I feel like they'll remake 4th gen before anything and continue the cycle from there on out.

Accidentally finding a shiny lapras one after the other. It took me -ages- to catch 30 for the chain, but once I found the shiny, another appeared no more than 30 secs after.

I would probably think Snorlax since he sleeps all day and wouldn't be annoying (and also cus he's one my of favs). Then again... he would probably barge into my home and eat everything.

I'm not sure if this would be consider "shiny hunting" but I managed to snag a shiny Porygon-Z from the GTS when I was trying to complete my dex! The trader requested a Masquerain, which was strange, but that didn't stop me from panicking and trying to find it in my box XD.

That'd be awesome! I actually grinded for a Pichu when I first began because I really wanted an Alolan Raichu in my team. I'm sure it was the reason why I racked up so many hours looking for the dang thing!
