    2nd Gen GSVC Countdown Chat

I'm hoping against hope that even though they haven't announced it, Crystal somehow comes to VC as well. It was just the definitive GBC Pokemon game!

A bit of help with trading between RBY and GSC

Hi all, I just finally got a link cable for my Gameboy Colors and can FINALLY trade between my gen 1 and gen 2 games. However, it's becoming pretty annoying having to make sure every pokemon with non-compatible moves along with gen 2 exclusives is in the box before initiating the trade. I'm...

5th Gen Do you still play the fifth generation games?

Well, sort of. I completed Black 2 today finally for the first time, at least, I beat the Pokemon League. I don't really plan to do any of the post-game, besides maybe revisit it in a while and get legendaries and such. I also didn't complete the post-game for White, because at the time I beat...

Help Thread: General Questions & Answers Thread

Are there any pokemon in any gen besides Smeargle that can learn all of these: -False Swipe -A sleep move -Mind Reader -Mean Look For any gen, my main purpose of asking is to create the ultimate pokemon for catching. From my own research I can't find a single pokemon that can learn all of...

4th Gen 4th Gen Help Thread

Use the Repel trick. Put a Pokémon at level 15 in front of your party and stand in front of the water. Spray a repel and then fish. Might take a while, but you should find one at level 15 on route 204. Good luck!

    The World of Shinies

I love them. I've gotten a few just from random encounters, and I successfully bred one using the Masuda method, but all in all (including the given shinies) I've only gotten like, 6.

    Immersion vs bodily needs

Ah, Skyrim. One of the best games for sitting at my computer for an entire day and forgetting to eat and go to the bathroom. Yes, this happens to me all the time. I have ADHD, so when I can hyperfocus on something, other needs become an extreme annoyance and/or I ignore them altogether.

What do you guys wear at home?

Pajamas of varying coverage, depending on the weather. Or just whatever clothes I had happened to be wearing if I had to leave the house that day, but I usually change into pajamas when it gets dark and I know I won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

    2nd Gen Old School Music?

Gosh, that's hard to decide. I love them both so much. I don't think I can choose a favorite, they're all so great for so many different reasons! The opening is probably my favorite in RBY, along with Pallet Town (asfjdh nostalgia!!!) Vermilion City, Saffron City, and the sweet themes for all...

3rd Gen Did you do the Sevii Islands side quest?

Yes, I totally did. I thought they were really fun and probably my favorite post-game quest of any pokemon game I've played. (besides GSC/HGSS, but that's like an entire game storyline, almost.) I played LeafGreen to completion; I caught all the pokemon that are available without cheats/events...

Foreign pokemon from gems 4 and 5 - do they keep foreign status when transferred to gen 6? Anyone know if pokemon that were obtained/generated in the 4th and 5th generation games keep their language of origin status? Ex., I have a few pokemon I got from the GTS in Pearl that are Japanese and...

    4th Gen Ball Capsules/Seals

So, 4th generation games had these things called ball capsules; they were essentially a way to get different animations when your pokemon went into battle. The way it worked was that you could put a ball capsule on your pokemon's poke ball, and then you could use Seals (which were like stickers)...
