Squirtle, just because when it evolves into Blastoise I could ride on the top of its shell and we would go everywhere. Blastoise is freaking huge and massively powerful. To the other question, I would be a trainer for a few years, then a Pokemon Researcher.

The one thing that completely screwed up BW for me, Tepig. I used to almost always go with the fire type starter and then the stupid thing is a freaking pig. Not counting the fact that it's another fire/fighting type. The whole evolution line just pisses me off. -.-

Yes, I totally agree. After all, it's not like a Blastoise with Hydro Cannon can't completely obliterate a 10 yr old kid to a smear on the pavement if it truly didn't want to battle in the first place. Oh wait.... -.-

I would have a Blastoise that I had raised from a Squirtle. Probably go on an adventure for a few years and get as many pokemon as possible before becoming a researcher with a Pokemon Professor. So many laws of physics are broken by Pokemon lol.
