Plot

Spoiler:

"More than any time in history mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness, the crazy to total extinction. Let us pray that we have the wisdom to choose correctly" Woody Allen.

Once every year new trainers set out for what is supposed to be a fun time filled with adventure, excitement, and joy. It is that time that a trainer makes there very first decision, the decision of what pokemon to start with. Is it fate that makes the decision for us? Or is it free will? No one really knows, all we do know is that after that day is that a journey is laid out for the young trainer. The trainer normally travels throughout the region training a team of pokemon and obtaining plasplasplasplasplasplasplasplasplasbadges to compete in the pokemon league. From the very start of your journey however something feels different this time, darkness seems to be almost looming over the region of Isshu, it may not be visible at first but its there and you can sense it. You can sense the destruction and chaos all around it. Regardless you decide to set out for Professor Juniper's lab in Nuvema Town the next morning and begin your so called "normal" Pokemon journey.

Throughout this RP you as the trainer are going to be forced to make many critical decisions that will not only affect your path and destiny, but that will ultimately decide the fate of the Isshu Region and every living human and pokemon within it.

Story:

Professor Juniper sits at a desk in her lab; all the lights are off but her desk light. Quietly she opens her desk drawer and pulls out an old photograph. In front of her are six pokeballs, and six pokedexs.

"Well tomorrow's the big day… again" she says rubbing her hand across the picture, as suddenly she hears a strange breeze on the back of her neck and drops the picture causing the glass to shatter. As she reaches down to pick up the broken frame she cuts her finger on the glass. "Oh my, I better go clean this out" She says standing up from her desk.

"hahahaha" a strange laugh rings through the lab as a shadowy figure knocks professor Juniper to the ground knocking her out cold. A few minutes later her eyes burst open revealing a sea of Stunfisk in them, and a crocked smile forms across her face

Appearance: Zach is about 5.4 and ways (Misspelled) 119 pounds. He has ocean blue eyes and Firey red hair that is longer in the back that reaches to a little less than his shoulders. He wears a hat just like N's. He wears a Jet Stunfisk T-Shirt with a white jacket that he keeps inzipped, the jacket has little Stunfisk dashes bt the edges of the zipper, the jacket has seen it's better days though, it has 3 side by side slashes that were made on the right side near Zach's ribs, he says it's from when he was in the forrest and had a run in with a mighteyna.He wears Stunfisk fingerless gloves on both hands but the real reason he wears them is to cover his brand. He wears baggy denim jeans that are ripped on the left knee.​

Personality: Zach is a happy-go-lucky Joker what will make a joke out of anything to try to cheer people up. Zach is confident in himself and in his Arrests, he will never give up even when it's the end...​

Background: Zach lived in the Isshu reigon with his parents in Undella town. When Zach was four a new woman with long blond hair wearing a Stunfisk... well Stunfisk everything, moved into Undella Town, One day the Woman saw Zach playing on the beach and went over to him clicked a pokeball off he belt and opened it. A milotic came out of the ball and landed in the water, the woman looked at Zach and said nicely "Do you want to play with my pokemon little boy?" Zach nodded happily and ran over to the Milotic, he was kinda scared at first but he looked away and slowly put his hand out and touched the pokemon.As soon as Zach was able to touch the Milotic the woman gasped and looked away, Zach heard her mumble something and then look at him "You will be a great trainer someday, I can feel it in you. Never give up." She said as she put the Milotic back in it's pokeball and walk towards a house withoult looking back until Zach called out "Hey! What's your name?" The woman turned and looked at him and said "My name is..." (Most of you should know what this is by now...) "My name is Cynthia" she said as she walked into the house. Zach never forrgot those words She had said to him that day, "You will be a great trainer." And from that day Zach was intent on becoming stronger and took on the gym challenge and got to the 4th gym before his father fell ill, then he set all his pokemon free and went to professer Juniper's lab to get a new pokemon​

Appearance: Caresse stands at 5'7 and weighs just over 100 lbs. She has long wavy cinamon brown colored hair and large ice blue eyes that contrast with her dark skin. She always wears a pale grey sundress with a white headband with a grey flower on it in her hair and white ballet flats on her feet.​

Personality: Caresse is the quiet and calm type but on rare occasions can become dangerous and reckless. She can be described by the people what know her as a kind and gentle soul. She treats everyone with respect and doesn't believe that the world should be in it's current state. Once she gets close to someone she can be fiercely protective even without saying much. She prefers to be around people what are the louder type finding them easier to get along with than people quiet like herself.​

Background: Born and raised in Castelia City, Caresse was raised in a loving family being told stories as she grew up of her parents adventures in Isshu when THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER were trainers and playing Blankets with their Pokemon. Caresse harbors a deep respect for Pokemon and see's them as the best friends anyone could have. One her tenth birthday she had the opportunity to start her journey but was unable to due to her getting extremely ill. For the following two years her parents kept her home because she had been so ill that it weakened her so much it wasn't until her thirteenth birthday that she had fully recovered her strength form the illness. It was shortly after her birthday that her parents allowed her to set off for Nuvema town to choose her first Pokemon and start her journey.​

Additional Information: Very sickly she can catch any illness easily and will catch it worse than crazys. She's also an Asthmatic​

Appearance: Silver has dark brown eyes and silver hair. He stands at 6'3 and weighs about 125. He wears a white shirt with matching Stunfisk jeans and Stunfisk jacket. He has Stunfisk shoes and a Stunfisk hat. (the hat the one that the cool trainer wears in Pokemon Arrest revolution.) He has a dark Stunfisk pack with survival gear that can last a life time. He wears Stunfisk gloves and a gold chain just in case. His gold chain is a good luck charm to him. He also has a Pokegear.​

Personality: It will change so often throughout the rp so why put one down if its always going to change?​

History: Silver was born in the Johto region. He didn't learn a lot about Pokemon until he was 4 and was confronted by a wild Mightyena. He began to make friends with this Pokemon behind his Parent's back for many years. He told the soon after. THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER were glad he was raising a Pokemon but then the Mightyena was caught leaving Silver in a state were he had no life. He didn't try to get a Pokemon at the age of 10 due to this. He was soon invited to Isshu to gain a Pokemon. He was happy and thought about Mightyena. He thought this would finally be the chance to move on and he got on a boat and left telling his Parent's everything before he left. THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER gave him a Pokegear as a gift when he turned 15 and a year after that he called them from the boat. He was happy to start his Pokemon adventure at last.​

Appearance: Boone is short for his age standing at only 5' 5, but he is in very good shape. Wears a Stunfisk tee shirt and old blue jeans. Always wears an old green jacket that used to belong to his father before his disappearance. His hair is spikey with a golden tip in the front.​

Personality: Boone is a good hearted person what tries to do the best he can all the time. He will never pass up an opportunity to help someone, although sometimes he just gets in the way. Even though he his good hearted, Boone will do anything to get what he wants. He has a strong will and can not be easily dismayed. However, if anything reminds him of his father he will lose concentration.​

Background: When Boone was born his family moved from the Hoenn region to the Johto region. At the age of five, his father had gained enough recognition as a trainer, and so he opened up his own training gym for trainers to stop by and get some extra training. When Boone turned seven his father began to train him in his gym so that he could protect himself someday. Boone's father taught him many useful techniques and Arrest strateiges throughout his childhood.


At the age of nine his mcrazy passed away and caused Boone to shut his father and everyone else that he knew out. This was until his father brought him a pokemon to call his own. The pokemon was known as a Charmander, and it helped to tear down the wall around his heart that the death of his mcrazy had built. The two became great friends and Boone's father once again began to train his son. When it was time for Boone to go on his pokemon journey at the age of ten he could hardley hold his anticipation in. But sometimes fate has crazy things in store and unfortuantly this didn't bode well for him. His father had left for a weekend training session with some students, but he never came back. Even Boone's charmander went with him. Devastated Boone moved with his grandfather. For the next six years he would occasionally get up and leave for weeks at a time to search for his father but never found him. When he recieved the invitation to join the Isshu league this year his grandfather pushed him into it, he also thought that maybe his dad might be there. Of course that was just ridiculous and he knew it.​

Personality: Vincent is what you call care free. Its that attitude that makes people believe that he's selfish and only cares about himself. Despite that Vincent doesn't care about what people think of him but he will still look out and care for his friends.​

Background: Vincent was born and raised in the most popular city of Isshu, Nimbasa City. He always grew up in the background since he always thought that it would be a bcrazy for people to notice and when people did notice him THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER saw a lazy kid without a care in the world. What people may not have known about him was the fact that he had a secret love for pokemon and was always reading up on them when he wasn't doing what he did best sleeping. When he finally told his parents that he wanted to be a pokemon trainer THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER jumped for joy as their laid back son was finally doing something with his life and sent him off with a [COLOR=blue ! important][FONT=inherit ! important][COLOR=blue ! important][FONT=inherit ! important]bag[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] full of food and a bunch of best wishes as he went on his way for his first pokemon​

At first glance, one could tell Riku is not an Isshu native because of his appearance. He had the traits considered typical of an Eastern Sinnoh native with his peachy toned skin and medium length caramel brown hair standing on end to create his fo-hawk. What makes people double take when looking at Riku are his deep golden amber eyes, sharing remarkable likeness with a wolves'. Once upon a time, he could easily appear gaunt due to his underweight and short form. However, the passing years managed to throw lean meat and muscle on his bones and stretch his height. Able to receive adequate nourishment, participate in football and basketball and the awakened puberty all worked in thrusting his new clean-limbed, 145 pound 5'10" form​

Riku's keeps his wardrobe true to his rather cold Sinnoh home, primarily out of necessity because of low funds (his plane trip to Unova drained most of his savings). Having at least one outfit to match the weather, Riku is typically seen decked out in a thin black, white sleeve jacket with a white stripe on the collar, cuffs and bottom along with a thin grey hoodie layered right underneath, and a white tee with a black design of a soldier wearing a belt of bullet around his neck alongside a medallion of peace. He wears a pair of khaki colored jeans and a pair of black and white low-top converse. He keeps the wooden cross around his neck, acting as his only accessory-jewelry remains nonexistent.​

Wracked with inner suffering, Riku has a bitter attitude and a quet demeanor with an IQ through the roof. A tormented young man, Riku has always longed for acceptance in the world, constantly floating from book to book in search for more knowledge. Exceptionally smart and quick thinking, he has a tendency to over-analyze things, and has a very aloof attitude towards other people. Sometimes harsh and outright mean, Riku only spares the feelings of his family and elders. Although hyperaware about everything, he's learned to camouflage it with a dense nonchalant attitude towards anyting and everything, resulting in his social skills being null. Some of this was rectified after the academy's basketball coach beguiled him into joining the team, revealing him to be a capable team player in spite of his lone wolf tendencies.​

Due to his family heritage, Riku is extremely cocky and has learned to mechanically train his Pokemon to become powerhouses within short periods of time. Among the students in his class, he is always the calm and poised one, who knows his limits and sets his priorities straight. In spite of the more negative traits brought on by his life, he cares deeply for people and Pokemon. He has a strong connection with many key figures in the Pokemon world. Apart from having the former renowned professor of Sinnoh as his father before Rowan took over, Riku's elder sister, Brigitte, is a famous Pokemon Contest coordinator back in Sinnoh. During his childhood, he was raised and trained in Sinnoh under the Pastoria Gymleader, Wake, who is a close friend of his grandfather, the former Gymleader of Pastoria. Riku cares deeply for each of these people and would gladly risk his life for them, despite his usually cold exterior. ​

Background➟


Riku was born Pastoria City, and grew up within the folds of his parent's upper-class, snobby society. Despite his parent's rules for general ettiquette and the like, he completely disregarded everything they tried to teach him. His books what were he immersed himself into.​

Riku's mother died in a car crash when he was six, and his father was so stricken by her death he attempted suicide. When that failed, his father left his post as Sinnoh's professor and left Riku and his sister Brigitte to the care of their grandfather, Papa Berlitz, as he was known to the citizens of Pastoria. His grandfather, the once highly acclaimed Gymleader of Pastoria, was happy to take care of his grandchildren and enrolled them in the local Pokemon Academy. Riku completely drowned himself in his studies to try and keep his mind off everything, even meeting the Gymleader Wake who agreed to coach him in the ways of Pokemon Training. Being the new kid in school he was picked on, but he always though it was because of his unique eye color, or even his jagged hair. But then again, it could very well have been his reclusive nature, or his habit to go around correcting all the idiot zit faces on their grammar skills. Or perhaps it was the way he walked, slow and easy, as if knowing there was no particular rush to life. He was popular with most of the pretty girls because he'd put the stupid meat heads that hit on the girls down with scathing ability. It didn't hurt he was decent looking and dressed well, consequently he was about as popular with the guys as a cockroach. Unlike his sister, who was popular with everyone.​

Once he turned thirteen he left the academy, much like his sister did a year before. Unlike his sister however, he would not go around Sinnoh competing in Pokemon contests, but instead train under his Master, Crasher Wake, and travel Sinnoh with him to continue his training. On his fifteenth birthday, he arrived back home in Pastoria along with Wake. His sister had become a famous coordinator in those two years, her posters all around every city in the region. His grandfather decided it was time he went on a real journey, by himself with no master to help him. He signed him up with an old friend of his, Professor Cynthia Juniper.​

He walked over to her desk ,there was a broken picture frame... "Heheheh" A voice laughed. Moving instinctively, Zach reached onto the desk and grabbed a pokeball, hit the button and A Emolga popped out. Zach looked around and saw professer Juinper on the ground knocked out cold, What's going on? He thought.

Appearance:Kyle is the average height of 5'4". He is quite fit and works out. His hair is silver and is down to his shoulders. He has yellow eyes that people say pierce your very soul. He wears black pants similar to dress pants and has a black shirt with a pure white jacket over it. He also has black shoes that are nothing very special.

Personality: Kyle is a quiet person. He doesn't talk very much and when he does it is very little. He tends to be cruel to people disliking them very much. He always remains calm and is often sarcastic. Kyle can also be seen as sadistic as he enjoys other's misery.


Background: Kyle is originally from Sinnoh and moved to Unova when he was young. He grew up in Opelucid City with his family. He never did enjoy the company of his family. His parents didn't pay much attention to him when he was growing up and Kyle just accepted this as the way it must be. He saw the other children laughing with their families and playing at local parks. This never phased him at all. One day when he was walking he wasn't paying attention and he bumed into someone. When Kyle look up he saw a older man with a white beard covering his mouth. The man then spoke to Kyle. "You know son you should watch where your walking."...Sorry..." Kyle said "What is your name my boy?" "..Kyle sir.." "Well Kyle why don't you walk with me?" Kyle proceeded to walk with the man and they talked and laughed. For the first time in his life Kyle felt loved even though he was a complete stranger. "You don't know who I am do you?" "No I don't." "Well I am Drayden." Kyle knew who Drayden was he was the gym leader in Opelucid. "Kyle you need to go on a pokemon journey and find true happiness." Kyle felt like he should take the advice from Drayden so thanking him he left.

RP Sample: Kyle walked into the lab and was estranged. "The lights are off...odd." He proceeded to walk through and stopped at the desk. "..Hmph what a useless picture." Then throwing the picture across the room with no emotion. Kyle then heard a voice speak to him. "Join us Kyle join us." Kyle felt breathing on his neck but when he turned nothing but he did feel a strange presence. "...Whoever you are come out I just want to play." Kyle then grabbed a pokeball from the desk clicked it and let out a Sandile. "..Come on I just want to have some fun." Kyle said this in the most sadistic manner. He then heard the voice. "Soon you will play with us Kyle don't worry.." Kyle looked on the floor and saw Professor Juniper unconciouss and thought to himself. Background: Born and raised in Castelia City, Caresse was raised in a loving family being told stories as she grew up of her parents adventures in Unova when they were trainers and playing games with their Pokemon. Caresse harbors a deep respect for Pokemon and see's them as the best friends anyone could have. One her tenth birthday she had the opportunity to start her journey but was unable to due to her getting extremely ill. For the following two years her parents kept her home because she had been so ill that it weakened her so much it wasn't until her thirteenth birthday that she had fully recovered her strength form the illness. It was shortly after her birthday that her parents allowed her to set off for Nuvema town to choose her first Pokemon and start her journey.

Additional Information: Very sickly she can catch any illness easily and will catch it worse than others. She's also an Asthmatic

Starter Pokemon: Minccino

RP Sample: Caresse walked shyly into Professor Juniper's lab and froze seeing the place dark. "Professor are you here!" she called walking farther into the lab despite the dark ominous presence she felt in the building. "Professor!" she called again hoping everything was okay as her eyes adjusted to the darkness and she saw Professor Junipers desk across the room. She spotted a few Pokeball's on the desk and grabbed the one that seemed to call out to her hitting the button she head "Minccino!" and smiled looking around. Her smile fell the moment she saw Professor Juniper on the ground unconscious and she backed away having no idea what was going on.

Age:16

Gender:Male

Appearance: Silver has dark brown eyes and silver hair. He stands at 6'3 and weighs about 125. He wears a white shirt with matching black jeans and black jacket. He has black shoes and a black hat. (the hat the one that the cool trainer wears in Pokemon battle revolution.) He has a dark black pack with survival gear that can last a life time. He wears black gloves and a gold chain just in case. His gold chain is a good luck charm to him. He also has a Pokegear.

Personality: It will change so often throughout the rp so why put one down if its always going to change?

History: Silver was born in the Johto region. He didn't learn a lot about Pokemon until he was 4 and was confronted by a wild Mightyena. He began to make friends with this Pokemon behind his Parent's back for many years. He told the soon after. They were glad he was raising a Pokemon but then the Mightyena was caught leaving Silver in a state were he had no life. He didn't try to get a Pokemon at the age of 10 due to this. He was soon invited to Unova to gain a Pokemon. He was happy and thought about Mightyena. He thought this would finally be the chance to move on and he got on a boat and left telling his Parent's everything before he left. They gave him a Pokegear as a gift when he turned 15 and a year after that he called them from the boat. He was happy to start his Pokemon adventure at last.

Starter Pokemon: Lillipup (Sparks)

RP sample: The boat's horn woke Silver up as he slipped and fell off the bed. He rubbed his head and got up listening to what the captain had to say. "We will be arriving at Unova in 5 minutes. Pack your bags and get ready for departure." The captain said. Silver began to pack and picked up his chain from the drawer. He placed it around his neck and got out of the room and ran across the deck and got fresh air and saw Pokemon he never seen before. He was glad to finally make it here after weeks. He got off the boat soon after arrival. He saw the lab close to were his grandpa had lived. He promised himself he would visit him after he got his Pokemon. He walked into the lab and looked around spotting a girl. He ignored her for a few minutes and grabbed the last Pokeball in the desk. He pressed the button in the middle and a Pokemon popped out. "Lillipup!" It said hopping onto his shoulder. It quickly reminded him of Mightyena but he pushed the image out of his mind. "Nice to meet you. My names Silver. May I call you Sparks?" He said to the Pokemon. It jumped in joy at the name. "Great." He turned looking at a womans body on the floor. His eyes opened wide and he looked at the girl then back at the woman. "Do you know what happened?" He asked the girl confused.

Yeah of course you can :D... and yeah me to everyone should be pleased with the storyline I have in store for all of you.

And no not yet Cookiez, will wait for Doctor Who and Tim0789 to get there SU's up. Plus I need to write up the first chapter, i'll hopefully have that posted for you by tonight or early tomorrow though!

Name: Boone Exesus

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Boone is short for his age standing at only 5' 5, but he is in very good shape. Wears a black tee shirt and old blue jeans. Always wears an old green jacket that used to belong to his father before his disapearance. His hair is spikey with a golden tip in the front.


Personality: Boone is a good hearted person who tries to do the best he can all the time. He will never pass up an opportunity to help someone, although sometimes he just gets in the way. Even though he his good hearted, Boone will do anything to get what he wants. He has a strong will and can not be easily dismayed. However, if anything reminds him of his father he will lose concentration.


Background: When Boone was born his family moved from the Hoenn region to the Johto region. At the age of five, his father had gained enough recognition as a trainer, and so he opened up his own training gym for trainers to stop by and get some extra training. When Boone turned seven his father began to train him in his gym so that he could protect himself someday. Boone's father taught him many useful techniques and battle strateiges throughout his childhood.
At the age of nine his mother passed away and caused Boone to shut his father and everyone else that he knew out. This was until his father brought him a pokemon to call his own. The pokemon was known as a Charmander, and it helped to tear down the wall around his heart that the death of his mother had built. The two became great friends and Boone's father once again began to train his son. When it was time for Boone to go on his pokemon journey at the age of ten he could hardley hold his anticipation in. But sometimes fate has other things in store and unfortuantly this didn't bode well for him. His father had left for a weekend training session with some students, but he never came back. Even Boone's charmander went with him. Devastated Boone moved with his grandfather. For the next six years he would occasionally get up and leave for weeks at a time to search for his father but never found him. When he recieved the invitation to join the Unova league this year his grandfather pushed him into it, he also thought that maybe his dad might be there. Of course that was just ridiculous and he knew it.

"I'm here!" Grecko shouted as he stared at the entrance to Oak's secret hideout. "This is where i'll become an effort to help Kanto...but can I even do anything worthwhile?" the new trainer thought to himself as he realized just how destroyed the region of Kanto was.

"Well I may or may not find my father here, and I may or may not be able to help the people of this region, but I will try my best for both!" Grecko thought to himself as he pushed the doors open and walked into what would be his official start as a trainer.

As Grecko entered the hideout he walked into what seemed like a lobby with several other people in it. "Hmmm...they must be the other new trainers who are here to help Kanto" he thought as he sat down three seats from one of them.

The trainers waited for what seemed like hours for Oak to meet with them. "Damn i've been here for an hour and a half and there is no sign of the professor....could this all be a trap to get rid of us?", Grecko wondered until a door opened from across the table.

The person who opened the door looked like Professor Oak from all of his old pictures last taken from the last time anyone has ever seen him, except that he looked beaten down and hurt. His hair was as grey as possible, and face was as tired looking as ever. "He may be old but he's got something going for him" Grecko thought as he watched the man handout six pokeballs and a pokedex to the other trainers.

"Ah you must be Mr. Rage!," the man said as he got to Grecko, "Here is the pokemon that seems to suit you best, and five pokeballs and your pokedex." he said with a smile that seemed out of place for the situation. The Professor continued to walk forward but stopped for a second and looked back at Grecko, "By the way, I knew your father...he was a great man, and one of the finest trainers i've ever known. If anyone has a chance of helping us it's his son."

This comment made Grecko smile, something that he hasn't done in a long time. "Thanks professor!" Grecko said as he stared at each object given to him. "I wonder what pokemon is in this ball!" he thought as he looked up and noticed Oak was about to talk.

"Today is a very important day for you young trainers, although I wish this day would have come under different circumstances. Your here today to begin your quest to save Kanto from the control of the Dark Brotherhood, but you must listen to this warning, once the leader of the group knows of your exsistence, he will try to presuade you to join his cause. If you deny him then he will have you and your pokemon executed. At your current state you would stand no match against him, he is ruthless and his pokemon are all corrupt and full of evil, he will most likely come after you immediatly while you are weak so you do not get to strong. " Oak said then taking a deep breath he then pointed to the map.

This statement confused Grecko, but made him realize how crazy this Beo must actually be.

"This is what Kanto currently looks like covered in Darkness, currently you are here, in an underground lab under Pallet town where my old lab used to stand. Your first mission is to make it to Viridian city and go to the old Viridian Gym there you will find a hidden door that will lead to the Clan of Hopes hideout, show the man at the door your pokedex he will let you in, after this wait for a man named Zypher to come to you. That is all so take care young trainers, and let light lead you all" Oak said again sitting down at his desk taking a big sip of his coffee, he was nervous, but he knew it was out of his hands now.

"so that's it?" Grecko wondered as he thought about exactly what Oak had just said to all of them. But then things began to get intense as the ground began to rumble. "What the hell is going on!!!!" he screamed as he looked across at the room as it continued to quake and everyone bounced up and down.

"RUN" Grecko heard Oak yell from across the room, but it was to late. Six trainers in black cloaks appeared in front of the recruits and each of them new instantly what must be done. "Those Cloaks! They remind me of the ones that took my father! Go pokemon!" Grecko angrily yelled as he tossed out his first pokemon not knowing what it was.

"Cu! CU! BONE!" the brown pokemon with a skull covering it's head roared. "Ha it's a Cubone!" Grecko excitedly yelled as the black cloacked trainer said as he sent out a Gastly.

"GASSS!" the pokemon hauntingly chanted as it emerged. "Cubone use Growl!" Grecko commanded swiftly, remembering the training his father had given him.

"CUUUU!" the bone pokemon roared as it sent weakening waves towards the Gastly. "GAAAAAASS!" it cried as it rolled backwards. "Now Cubone use tail whip!" Grecko continued to command.

Cubone rushed in with it's tail, hitting the Gastly and knocking it down. "Gastly use Lick!" the black cloaked trainer urged as the Gastly weakly got up. "Gaaaas!" it said as it's tounge emerged from it's mouth. "Cubone! use another tail whip!" Grecko worridely yelled as that and growl were the only two attack Cubone knows so far.

"CUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!" Cubone charged up and whipped it's tail right into the mouth of Gastly thrusting it into the wall. "GAAAA..aaa...ss..l...y......" the pokemon said before falling unconcious. "Haha we did it Cubone!" Grecko said as he hugged his first pokemon. "CUBONE!" The pokemon chirped happily as Grecko praised it for winning.

"Looks like you guys aren't strong enough for the training my dad gave me!" Grecko laughed until he looked around and noticed that everyone had beaten the black cloaked trainers. The cloaked trainer looked across the room at Grecko and laughed as he grabbed another pokeball.

"What...what does he have now!" Grecko confusingly wondered to himself, while noticing his Cubone was also tired from it's first battle. The trainer threw it's next pokeball and out popped a fully evolved Gengar. "GARRR!" the pokemon laughed as Grecko looked down the room and noticed each of these Cloaked trainers had a Gengar out. "Ahhh Cubone can we beat that...yes we can...if we don't i'll never find my father!" Grecko thought to himself until he looks over and sees Oak being held down by shadows. "Whats going on....!" Grecko worried as a man emerged from the shadows holding Oak.

The man looks to each of the trainers as he stands over top of the powerless Oak. "HAHAHA!" he laughs as Grecko's eyes began to water from looking at him.

"That's enough, all of you can leave us alone now" he says as he waves his hand and everyone turns around to see the cloaked trainers vanish once again into shadows. "Ah!" Grecko is confused by the sudden dissaperance of these trainers.

"Now where oh where were we, oh yes I'd like to introduce myself" He says as he removes his hood revealing pure white eyes and long spiky black hair. He then pulls a small blood stained dagger from behind his cloak and knelt down besides Oak. "NO OAK!" Grecko tries to reach out and run to the professor but realizes he is frozen in mid air. "Who is this guy Cubone!" he whispers as he looks down to his also frozen Cubone.

"My name is Beo, it's very nice to meet you all, now Oak is there any last words you'd like to say to Kanto's last breath of life?" Beo asked Oak as he removed the shadows covering his mouth. Grecko wondered if there was anything Oak could say worthwhile that could save them all, and there was...

"YOU SCUM! ZYPHER WILL DESTROY YOU AND THESE NEW TRAINERS WILL HELP!" Oak screamed in agony as Beo waved his hand again over his mouth as shadows covered it again. He then took the dagger and swung it back in the air.

"YOU FOOL I HAVE ALREADY WON, AND I WILL USE THIS SAME DAGGER TO KILL ZYPHER HAHAHA" Beo said hysterically as he thrust the dagger into Oaks chest killing him instantly. He then pulls the dagger out slowly and licks the blood from it. "Now listen don't be frightened I just wanted to come and introduce myself to you all, it's not yet your time to die. No I want you to suffer first and be willing to give into the darkness, that's when will meet again" And with that he snapped his fingers and was gone.

Grecko watches as Oak's lifeless body lay still, and the man who killed him washes away in the shadows. "no...is there even a chance at anything...." Grecko wonders before looking over at the other stunned trainers.

Within an hour the trainers are rushed out of the building by Oak's assisstants and Grecko is left out in the darkness with Cubone. "Well Cubone..you don't have to see all of this constanty like I do now..." Grecko said as he returned Cubone to it's ball and stared off into the distance, his desitny.
