And here is it! As written, the question is what actually qualifys you as an adult in general. I've just read about some people over 18 I don't consider as adults.In most states you get the status of being an adult by reaching the age of 18. You don't actually do anything for it. But like anybody can guess, it's not like you transform overnight. In fact, you don't really change from one day to the other. The state just had to set its now-you-are-considered-to-be-an-adult-line somewhere and it happens to be the age of 18. So, what does it really mean to be an adult? A philosophical question and not part of this discussion. (Would actually be worth a thread I guess.)
