Because you?re still rendering it on the hardware. Don?t remember exactly how, but if you turn the performance all the way down you should be able to take them that way.

  • Studio 7 is a movie editing program. I noticed it can save to RealMedia, so I was also wondering if it can open them for conversion to some other form of media.

QuickTime allows screen capturing. If you can get it in that format, use it.

  • There are other media players that play Real files. I had one once I think it was called UltraPlayer. Try searching for that in Google.

  • It's somewhere in the settings... you can fix both Media Player and RealOne to allow screens...

    I just don't remember how. >>

Or you could just get HypersnapDX.
I use it for taking screens from movies all the time.
It caps the hardware overlay as well, so it gets it all.

    Go to View.
    Choose Preferenences.
Search the tabs untill you find something that says "Optimized View" Un-check it.
    Use print screen.

Paste picture into yoour paint program.

    ---------------------------

    RealOne:

    Go to tools.

    Then preferences.

    Then go to Hardware.

On the bottom you will see this line thing like this:

    ----------------------------------------| |
    ----------------------------------------\/

Change it to: Enable Optimized View

    -------------------| |----------------------
    -------------------\/-----------------------

    Like above.

then click okay. Then close out of real play, play the file and use print screen and copy and paste in ur paint program.

    -------------------------------

    Windows Media Player:

    Go to "Tools" then "Options"

Go to the "Performence" tab. See the line thingy?

    ------------------------| |
    ------------------------\/

    Move it to this:

    | |------------------------
    \/------------------------

Then aply and save. Close out of the player, then start it back up.

Print Screen it and copy it into your paint program and save it, etc, etc.
