I know the basic premise of this thread gets remade every so often, but anime opening and ending sequences always have so many different dynamics and such that you can love or hate them for many different reasons. Therefore, I figured why not make an iteration of the thread that covers more than one aspect.

Got rid of most of the negative ones. Here's my list.

Favorite song:
Cardcaptor Sakura OP 3 - Platinum
Rather, just put pretty much every Sakamoto Maaya song here and that pretty much describes it. All Lia and supercell songs apply as well, among others.


Favorite animation;
ef -the latter tale - emotional flutter
This is the Game's OP, but it still does well as an actual anime OP. If you recognize the pretty sky, yes, this is Makoto Shinkai.


Cutest:
Ro-Kyu-Bu - SHOOT -No.4 Mix-
So the OP itself kinda sucks. Hanazawa Kana's version of it in her character disc is amazingly cute.


Most disturbing:
Lain - Present Day....Present Time HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is pretty much all I need to disturb me


Most epic...est:
Overman King Gainer - King Gainer Over!
The show itself sucks, but this OP is awesome.


Most creative:
Cowboy Bebop: Tank

So this anime is apparently so unknown outside of Japan that I can't actually find the OP 1 on youtube, so enjoy the full song.


Most addicting:
Ga-Rei Zero - Paradise Lost
This is one of those songs that I have that I'll listen to whenever it comes up in the mp3 player. There are more out there, but this one came to mind and I haven't gotten sick of listening to it yet.

Sakura, Tomoyo and Kero baking cakes. That's the sweetest it gets.

Most Misplaced Usage
[Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, opening - Kimi no Uta]
This song is so out of place it hurts.

Most Guilty Pleasure (?)
[The Rose of Versailles, ending - Ai no Hikari to Kage]
Couldn't find the actual ending, but the melodramatic dialogue on the full version is a big plus.

Most Hammiest
[Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, opening - Macross]
Because I needed another category for a guilty pleasure.

I've been listening to this as well, and it is insanely addicting.

One of OP's best openings.

I'll have to add to this later, but for Favorite Anime Song, mine is definitely Naruto's 4th opening theme, "Fighting Dreamers/GO!!!" by FLOW. In the days following my first listening of the song, that track was practically embedded in my head. XD
