Welcome to the forums, Tico! I'm Megan! Lovely to meet you~

You're from California too, I see! Awesome! I am also from California, SoCal, to be quite specific! What part are you from? Of course, not trying to be stalkery, but you don't have to answer...I understand! Well anyways, I've been playing Pokemon since Red too, but I prefer the 2nd generation better. And all the games (including the upcoming XY games) are awesome!

Here at the PokeCommunity, you will meet many Pokemon fans with diverse backgrounds, and with similar interests, but we all share the same interest in Pokemon. So you are never the only one! Jump in some of the discussions we have here, of course, go on ahead and take your time! The staff here in bold colors are always around to assist you in any way possible. Making sure you have lots of fun~

Anyways, have a lovely time here, and feel free to drop me a message if ya want! See ya!

Welcome to you too Tico, I'm Hikari!

Sadly I'm not from California though, but from Sydney, down in Australia. It's more than just being a city with a giant coat hanger for a bridge lol. California looks like a nice place from what I've heard. I've been a longtime fan since the early days of Pokemon but the first game I played was Ruby, however my fave generation is the 5th Generation, which had such awesome games. I noticed you've been playing White 2, so why not head over to the Fifth Generation Gaming (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=200) section where you'll find some neat B2/W2-related topics.

PokeCommunity is more than just Pokemon, it's a forum with loads of diversity among its community, and you might even make a new friend along the way. Feel free to browse and see all the topics we are talking about, and remember that moderators with the bold blue names such as our Welcome Lounge mod Cirno are always happy to lend a helping hand with any questions you have, but our older members might also step in if you get lost.

Enjoy your stay here Tico, and if you ever need to say hi just drop me a VM!

Hi Tico, welcome to the forums. Cool avatar btw, Gengar's a great Pokemon.

I've been playing since the 1st gen too but adore the 2nd gen as well! *high fives* Chikorita's a cool Pokemon as well; you obviously have good taste in Pokemon.

Have fun.

Hey there, welcome to PC!

I am also a "veteran" and have been playing since the days of Red and Blue. It's funny how fast time flies, isnt it? Anyway, I love all the games as well except DPPt, I found them to be boring. My favorites though are HGSS, because I just LOVE johto and all the Pokemon in that region.

I hope to see you around the forums! If you need anything do not hesitate to ask!

Awww, Tico is a super cute name. For some reason I just really like it. Welcome to the community, Tico!

Creating an introduction is a great first step; I'm glad to see you made a thread. Already met a few of our forum regulars, so that's nice. :D There are lots where that came from so make sure to stick around and get your dose of posting in! Big Pokemon lovers like yourself are really welcome here, especially if you find the series great as a whole. Means there are that many more boards for you to get involved in, right? Have you done some exploring outside The Welcome Lounge yet? We're always available to give you pointers or suggestions if you ever need them.

And hey, White 2 is awesome. Probably my favorite game next to Emerald but all of the games are awesome, as you say. Chikorita is definitely the cutest starter so I must say you have quite good taste if you like it. ^~^ I almost always pick her as my starter in G/S/C even though it's hard to beat the game with one but it's still worth it, haha. Make sure to stop by the Fifth Generation board if you're looking to discuss the fifth gen, as Hikari says, but I'd also recommend Pokemon Gaming Central since you're a fan of all the Pokemon games. Trade Corner and Battle Center will probably be nice as well if you trade and/or battle.

Up to you, but make sure you stick around! :) Have a great time here! I'd love to help if you need anything, so feel free to message me anytime~
