Hi Sam, and welcome to PC!

And wow, only 9? I've seen quite a few members your age around here although we mainly have teens and a few people in their 20's making up most of the memberbase. While I have a pretty big age difference compared to you, I won't bite you. Trust me, I'm really cute and I do love helping new members. I looked at your profile and noticed you watched the earlier series of the Pokemon anime, so if you want to discuss the anime maybe you should check out the Pokemon Anime (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15) section here, but I'm sure you'll find some other sections you'll like. PC is very diverse after all.

Anyways, we do have rules here and it's heavily advised to read them because getting into trouble is no fun isn't it? If you do need help, feel free to ask any of those staff members in the bold (they aren't too hard to find) like Cirno, our Welcome Lounge mod. She won't hurt you I promise, but we also have a few non-staff who like to assist you as well. I do hope to see you around PC!

Hey there Sam, and welcome to PC!

Yeah, trust us. Don't let your age capture the best of you by letting us older ones get onto you :P but honestly, 9 years old is quite the young age here! A majority of us users here are either in our teens or our twenties, but we promise not to bite! :) And you like the Indigo League anime? As Nichole above pointed out, be sure to check out the anime section of the forum where lots of discussion on the Pokémon anime occurs.

Anyways, as a reminder, please be sure to look over the rules here at PC. I don't mean to sound redundant, but there are newbies who often get into trouble because they never look over the rules, and I've seen this happen here at PC and on other forums too.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here at PC that's on staff (they're users with the bolded usernames), and they would be glad to help you at any time! :)

Anyways, hope you enjoy your stay here at PC, Sam! ^_^

Heya, Electadude! :D Welcome to PokeCommunity, good to meet you.

I peeked at your profile and noticed you liked the Pokemon anime, so you'll be pleased to know we have a Pokemon Anime board around on the forum, as already suggested! Be sure to stop by. It's fine if you only prefer the Indigo League; we have plenty of others who like the earlier anime around here, though there are also a lot who like the series overall. :) It's a nice place to discuss your favorite episodes and characters, from Ash all the way to Team Rocket. What characters do you like the most? I'm not sure if you know who May is yet, but she's my favorite girl from the group. Hoenn was one of the coolest sagas but I also really liked Kanto and Unova.

Oh, and there's also the wonderful Spinoff Games (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110) board if you're looking to discuss Pokemon Stadium! That game was aweeesome, hehe. I had Stadium 1 but not Stadium 2, though I played that one a lot at my friend's house. Any other spinoff games you like? There's Ranger, Mystery Dungeon, Conquest, and lots more you can discuss over there, so it's an awesome place for Pokemon game fans. And you play the main series games too, right? You know, games like HeartGold/SoulSilver and Black 2/White 2. The amazing X and Y are coming out soon in October so there's also that to look forward to, yeaaah! We have a board dedicated to 'em that you can check out called Pokemon X & Pokemon Y (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=256). It's one of our most popular locations nowadays. n~n

Wow though.. 9 years old is certainly young. This is a great forum for pretty much anyone though, so you'll definitely learn a whole lot about Pokemon and make many friends during your stay here.

Be sure to follow the rules of these boards if you're going to post around, though, and if you're confused just give myself or another moderator a holler. We would absolutely love to help you so don't ever be shy! See you around, great meeting you.
