wtf pc, wtf

Some of you guys really suck. There is an lgbt thread, a place where people like me can deal with our problems (like for me, coming out has been a big issue). But stupid, iggnorant jerks that make the world the way it is now came into the thread, and started being assfaces. It is so sad, and fustrating that a thread like that had to be shut down, just because of these people. I am so mad right now, I just cant believe it. Not only do these jerks question homosexuality, they try making straight threads, and other bullcrap like that, just because they feel like making trouble. HEY! Jerks of the world! You got your job done! You ruined the chance for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders to be happy, socalize, and help each other get through our problems in society, things you guys dont have to face. Ya, some issues are the same, but a lot of them you idiots dont understand and go through. We finally were able to do talk in a place we all adore, Pokecommunity...but now, we cant.

I don't see a problem in having a straight thread. It became a fair discussion as it went on, and it was nice to actually help people in that thread. I might've needed help in the future there, but it's gone too, just like your LGBT thread, but hey. I'm not crying over it. Let's all be big boys about it. I'm sick of seeing people complain about both of them. It won't get either of them back; you're just giving higher staff reasons to keep them closed.

Edit: Just my two cents, though. I'm not trying to sound rude or anything. Just wanted to get that hairball off my chest.

Well, I understand what your saying, but it was because of the straight thread, and the people making it trolling on the other thread that got it closed. All I am trying to say is without those people, the lgbt thread could still be going, and be used for what it was supposed to. It was NOT supposed to be a flamewar. That just shows the immaturity of our society.

EDIT: The straight thread, however, was made by a person who had been trolling on the other thread, and made the straight thread to get "even". I just think both should be made, and not be made to make jokes of themselves, and they can be used to what they need to be used for (but I really don't know what difficulties straight people go through by being straight. I mean, the guy wanted them straights to talk about puberty. Are you saying us LGBT people dont go through puberty either?).

If you read what David said in the thread that was made afterward, you'll see that the threads are just closed temporarily. Higher staff are most likely discussing possible options to regulate the thread and make it more user friendly.

But I'd just like to point out, seeing as how no action was taken against the users who were trolling, for the most part, despite being reported, it's obvious that from an outsider perspective they weren't trolling. Just expressing their difference of opinion. It seems there are a lot of people who take offense to a difference of opinion and regard it as trolling.

Well, I cant wait to see what they come up with.

But some of it was just insults being thrown back and forth, which really is sad for that to happen in a thread like that.

PC is a pokemon forum, key word underlined. If you really want to discuss it you have hundreds of outlets both on the web and over instant messaging clients if you really have no one to talk to IRL.
If it didn't turn into a flame fest every time it would work out fine, and I hope it can but really, there's so many better ways and places to discuss such topics.

^ the fact that this is a Pokemon forum, should have nothing to do with can or can't be discussed, since this is much more than a Pokemon forum. It's whether or not PC is mature enough to handle it.

One person ruining the fun for everyone always seems to happen, but when a topic like that is made, regardless of where, it's gonna cause issues. I agree that it bites that it was closed, but it might not be closed for good. I think it could stay open as long as people keep their cool about the topics at hand. :/

This sentence is why both threads are closed. I ask you to think about what you're saying and then reflect on the reasons why the threads have been shut down and the conflicts within them.

I'm pretty sure you can still post and talk to people on the forum without needing your own thread. I don't see what the big deal is. Make a group if it bothers you that much. =/

I just wanted to say that its sad that a lgbt thrad had to be brought down because of the stuff that happened. Thats all. I never wanted to start more arguing, the same king of arguing in that thread. I never wanted all these comments like this.

EDIT: But why must the discussion resort to other options? Why cant we just have a happy thread? Is it really that hard. Sure, we can make groups, or whatever else, but we wont get to see the whole community of LGBTs on PC. That was the original intent on the thread. To unify LGBTs of PC.

I understand that you may or may not feel the urge to discuss whatever it is that is on your mind, and that's great. As teenagers, it's only natural to want to discuss things that are concerning you during this period of change.

Which is why there isn't a reason to not allow for a heterosexual thread as well. Teenagers can be hetero too, believe it or not, and they too want to talk about things in a place they feel comfortable, just like you do. So don't think you're so special, because sexuality can be new to everyone.

You can deal with your problems on this blog and on MSN and also in the help thread, too. No one's stopping you. Not saying that it wasn't uncool for them to lock it, but that thread has been more about debating than helping people, to be honest with you.

And because your layout doesn't let me edit my post I just wanted to mention that I agree with Amachi's last statement, there. No offense.

I am also crazy upset that me and other hetros no longer have a thread to unite in. Thanks a lot for spamming it up guys =/

Im going to just post my last statements and thoughts, because this is my blog. There is no need fo you guys to retaliate, just let me say my thoughts, and lets forget about this blog. The thread is closed, and that is that.

Do straight people get discriminated for liking the opposite sex? No. Do gays get discriminated for liking the same sex? Yes. So what problems do straight people have to talk about that is different than those of the LGBT community (which have way more problems). One problem is the fact that once gays are turn up in a conversation, everything goes downhill from there. Why is that? I really dont understand why anything that has to do with LGBT stuff turns into an argument. That doesnt happen when people talk about heterosexuals. Is it because us in the LGBT commmunity are different?
