  • Not that I have anything against people with other sexual preferences. I was just wondering.
:/ Seems like people have a lot of trouble coming out of the closet.. and I feel really bad for them.. it's nice to know that there are a lot of people in this community that can relate to them.

:/ I'm not one of them, though.. and honestly.. I see so many jokes on here that I begin to question what the GLBT percentage actually is on here.
Do some people do it all for show, or do you think it's all really genuine?
I don't think people should joke about sexuality :/ personally :/...

Anyways, since everyone's making mention of their preferences, I thought I'd just throw it out there that I'm straight.

    YEAH. Seriously.

But there's one thing I've always questioned.. :/ Why are there so many groups, cliques, and support for the GLBT.. but not for people who are straight?
:/ Would that be discrimination? Is being straight really in the majority nowadays? Compared to what I see on PC it seems like a minority to me.. ._.
    How crazy strange is that?

What do you guys think about it all?

  • Well, if over half of the people today are LGBT, then we better get some shotguns, and fast. I doubt it, but you never know. I thought the human race wanted to reproduce and live for a little while longer.

And you know what I wonder? When did this LGBT thing start, anyway? You never really heard of homosexual people in the early 1900's (or so I've heard).

I have no idea.. but I think it was really frowned upon in society back then so no one really wanted to be outcasted or something :/

Perhaps now it's become more of a trend..
Obviously there are people out there who are truly LGBT and all that.. but others may fall into the stereotype just like that whole emo trend and stuff..

Who knows. I was just making some social commentary and was wondering what people thought.

  • I'm straight, although some people doubt that. I exhibit some traits that are considered too . . . feminine to be natural for a teenage boy. I think that's bullcrap. Just because I watch Sailor Moon and don't like sports doesn't mean I'm gay.

I have nothing against LGBT, of course. I have a family member who's associated with that group, and he's all good. I think it's stupid that people see others in a different light just because they're different.

But of course, you've heard all this before. I'm just restating opinions that I'm sure (I hope) are shared by many people.

You can't help your sexual preference. If the person's gay, it's not really their fault. The only reason you didn't hear about them back then is that they would have been seen as an outcast. There are no more gays/lesbians today than there were back then, it's just that society tends to be more accepting of it now.

Honestly, I think most of the people on PC who claim to be gay/bi/lesbian/whatever are genuine. PC seems to be very accepting of that fact, too. I'm not gay, but I don't see any problem with people who are (in fact, a few of my closest friends on here are gay, and I have a RL friend who is bi).

I think this is possible aswell.
I'm gay so I love pop culture.
^ Probably one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on PC.
It would seem that some don't know where to draw the line between personality and sexuality.

  • This blog speaks the truth. LGBT people cause greater separation when they make it into a big thing. Let's face it, you're gonna cause less drama if you don't make it a point to explicitly tell everybody you meet that you're gay. And yes, I have noticed a discrepancy between the percentage of LGBT people on PC and in real life.

Seth. - homosexuality has actually been around for thousands of years: many historians believe that there were homosexuals and bisexuals in ancient Greece and Rome, the female and supposedly lesbian poet Sappho being one of the most prominent examples.

EDIT: And i just realised how long ago this was posted XD ah well
