THOSE LIBERAL METAGAME PEOPLE AND THEIR REGULATIONS

People just don't understand how tough Dragons it. They're weak to Ice types AND themselves. Plus we could only hurt ourselves for effective damage. Those Smogon people sure had some nerve to ban a couple of them from the standard play. How do you expect a playstyle to fully flourish when you impose so many regulations on our free metagame?

That was only the 4th gen too. When 5th gen came around, those LIBERALS only imposed MORE regulations, banning Ability and Pokemon combinations as well as Pokemon for their Abilities outright!

This is all an attack on our free metagame and we must put a stop to it. Allow the free metagame to flourish. Eliminate Sleep Clause and let battlers determine the amount of Pokemon put to sleep through their own agreement.

Garchomp being banned was bad enough, but Salamence? Smogon has completely lost it.

It was fine until the Democrats took control of the Smogon Congress in the latest forum elections. After that, the other Pokemon complained about not getting what they're entitled to, so Smogon had the spread the success around.

I would've thought it would be the conservatives trying to get Pokemon banned just because they have new, radical strategies that could change the metagame forever.

Actually, Smogon is more of a communist party than a liberal party. If they won't share the dragons, then no one can have the dragons.

No one's forcing you to follow their metagame. It's just a standard to which if it's raining it's not fair to anyone.

ummm.... salamence isn't banned... at least not in gen 5 metagame. :x

This blog entry is dumb. It isnt Smogon who bans things. Its the Pokemon players who decide to get off their butts by getting reqs and have their say in a vote. If you want your say go ladder on Smogon server, get the requirement CRE, convince people what is/isnt broken and get reqs then you can vote also. Thats what i did. ^^ Smogon simply counts the vote and makes it official.
