First Entry!

Okay, so I says to myself, I says, "Elite Overlord, when you get back to school and get your financial aid check, you should really make a donation to PC." So I says, "Cool, I'll do it!"

I used to be known as DarkPersian479 both here and on Serebii. But a certain idiot arch-nemesis (whose name I will not mention to avoid embarrassment) forced me to change my identity. His constant immature trash talk forced me to kill off my old persona and slowly get myself off of Serebii. This is the story of my identity change (taken from the Fan Fiction Lounge) :

DarkPersian479 is dead. He/She (alternates gender based on mood) was killed while crossing busy Dave Lyle Boulevard in Rock Hill, South Carolina. To everyone's surprise, it was not a Buick that did him/her in, but a 1995 GMC Vandura with an Explorer aftermarket conversion package. A fine vehicle, I may add, with 5.7L V-8, luxury captain's chairs, TV/VCR/DVD package, premium CD sound system, front and rear air conditioning, mood lighting, and wood-enhanced interior decor. It recently sold for $6995 on eBay.

Anyway, I, Elite Overlord LeSabre, am the executor to the deceased's estate, and I have been charged with continuing DP479's legacy on this forum. Unfortunately, I have been embroiled in legal matters where DP's fan fiction was alleged to have been a thinly disguised Ponzi scheme intended to bilk investors out of significant amounts of capital. As the executor, I was facing federal prison time and millions in fines. Only now have all charges been dropped and I have the financial and time resources to begin posting here again. But their case against the deceased DP479 was weak, and it never should have gone to trial. In any event, I shall begin posting here again on DP's behalf, attempting to continue his/her unique posting style.

Anyway, I used to be big on fan-fiction (including a 55-chapter completed one on Serebii) but I'm not active there anymore. Blame a lack of interest, as well as a shrinking selection of good fanfiction, and a glut of horrible ones like one by the aforementioned arch-nemesis (and this is the last I'll mention of him; he's not worth my time or yours).

Anyway, I'm a big fan of old American cars like Buicks (F-you, Cash for Clunkers!) and hotels, particularly the Quality, Comfort and Sleep chains. You'll frequently see me around the Other Trivia section, as well as lurking around the Wi-fi trading section (though if I want to trade, I'll PM/VM instead of post.) I'll occasionally still post in the Fan Fiction Lounge as well, just so I don't completely disappear from memory XD And who knows, I might return to fan fiction one day. (I do have like the first few chapters of my fan fiction posted here, but no updates since May 2008...)
