(Revised) Usergroups of The PokéCommunity

A long, long time ago, when Christ was a road guard, I wrote my first blog post covering the formatting and styling of staff usergroups. Being so young it was incredibly prone to errors (and had more than a few). In lieu of the recent changes to usergroups over the past year or two I decided to post a revised list in honor of my goal with that post I made three years ago. I hope you bookmark it! :D



Site Administrator: #663399

• Usergroup for owner of PC
• Formerly used for leaders of community sites
• Now only Rukario (PPNSteve) and Master Kwesi Nkromah remain.

Staff Administrators: #CF0505

• Usergroup for the highest level of staff on the forums
• Are key to all important decisions made for the community, along in part with the super moderators and sometimes Rukario
• Vote along with other high staff on promotions in a majority rules fashion

Super Moderators: #FF9900

• Have the ability to moderate any forum, as well as special interest forums and other sections such as the blogs
• Decide with the administrators on community decisions and implementations
• Vote along with other high staff on promotions in a majority rules fashion

Moderators: #4282B5

• Take care of their assigned section(s) independently
• Decide on certain matters for the forums at the discretion of the high staff
• Along with all other staff, they can see certain things invisible to members for the purpose of moderation (e.g. invisible users)

Community Supporters: Platinum: #8AAAB6 Crystal: #4E9DDA Gold: #CB9A3C Silver: #8F8F8F — formerly #5B9F36, originally #3A70B9

• Group for people who have contributed money to PC in donation
• Silver: USD5.00-USD14.99, Gold: USD15.00-USD24.99, Crystal: USD25.00-USD99.99, Platinum: USD100.00+
• Sometimes consulted in regard to test features
• Along with the moderators sometimes used as guinea pigs for beta features before public release

Showdown Staff: #A63881

• Operators for PC's Showdown server + chatroom
• Not PC staff, but officially affiliated

Assistant Administrators: #308D5E

• Old defunct usergroup
• Served as a social marker within staff politics
• Functioned essentially the same as staff administrators

Along with the moderators sometimes used as guinea pigs for beta features before public release

Somewhere. I wrote this bit as a final tribute to that blog post I made when I was like 13, just to bring closure for myself and it. As to why the first was written I couldn't even tell you. :p
