Seems like a fairly solid hack overwall, but I do think the difficulty spikes around certain battles make it much less enjoyable. Sudden level jumps like that just don't really work in pokemon games IMO.

I can certainly see this. There's a full 10-Level jump between the 2nd Gym's lead Pokemon and the 3rd, Burgh's, one. If I'm not misremembering, it jumps ahead by another 10 Levels between Burgh's Gym and Roxie's. And a smaller but still noticeable jump between Roxie's and the one after that.

This makes it difficult to keep up, as there's no Lucky Egg by that point and not nearly enough trainers to properly bridge your team's gap (even with a rotating Lucky Egg). It'll become even harder as you accumulate more of your team who'll need to share the boosted trainer experience, especially if its members are some of Black and White's famous late bloomers. (Which is also a part of why I recommend some Level adjustments to some of the Evolutions, like Rufflet/Vullaby, Litwick and Tynamo. With the Level jumps combined with opposition's more optimized sets up, those Pokemon become rather untenable to use during an average playthrough.) This then essentially forces the player to speed-up grind against wild Pokemon, most of whom will be unevolved Pokemon 15-20 or more Levels lower than the trainers in their vicinity. And no pinpoint hunting decently-Leveled Audino's like in the B/W games either.

Are the TMs reusable? Most rom hacks these days have that feature. I just wanted to confirm if i was playing the latest version.

Kanlara Ultimate's TMs aren't reusable. They are single-use, even in the latest version.

Being used as a testing ground for programming and design skill growth, this Rom Hack was developed separately from a lot of stuff that would go on to incorporate multi-use TMs from shared programmed sources. Inclusions and features depended on the creator's on-going, developing skill, so certain modern things from Pokemon Games — like the Physical/Special split — didn't or don't exist. While the split did get implemented later, reusable TMs did not. (Some can be found in multiples or purchases in multiples, on a TM-by-TM basis.)

Has gallade been implemented into the game?

Okay, I take that back. Just looked over the Walkthrough, and Gallade is present. You need to use an Evo Stone on Kirlia to get. Sorry for the misinformation.

Evo Stones are what you need. The first is available in the one of the houses in the town of the 2nd Gym. An NPC will give it to you. The second can be found not long after, in an item ball in the Kanlara Power Plant in the route up ahead. Exploring the place is optional, but you will need to reach the outside to progress the story.

There are other locations for Evo Stones. There's a text walkthrough a user created (EDIT: Not me!) that they posted in this thread, and it is pretty darn useful to follow. I recommend using it. I uploaded a copy to this post as an attachment.

First of all, I gotta say it's a pretty darn good rom hack. The implementation of the D typing is very cool.

    Now for the questions,

    1. Where do you find the itemfinder?

    2. I heard I can farm for Dark gems from Sableye's. Where do you get Covet/Thief and where do you find Sableye's?

    3. I just defeated Steven the gym leader of Florina Town and got the Surf HM from the guru but where do I head next? I can't figure it out tbh.

    4. Is there a list of the legendary/mythical pokemon locations?

I might have more questions but for now, these are it. Thanks! :D

There's actually a fanmade walkthrough that I believe answers every last question here. (Why am I iffy on the Itemfinder question? :/ It should be able to answer that, too.) It's an attachment on one of the posts in this thread. Just gotta re-find which one.

EDIT: Oh yeah. I actually had a mirror of it attached to a post on this page! Please note that this document wasn't made by me. I'm just making sure it gets to the eyes of those who need it, which is why I uploaded a copy in this post: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=10388444#post10388444

EDIT 2: The answers are as follows, but I still heavily recommend downloading that Walkthrough and following. Remember you can search through it using CTRL+F (or CMND+F, if on a Mac).

1.) The Itemfinder is given as part of your exploration of the Kanlara Power Plant, near the town with the second Gym. Exploring the inside is optional, as the story only takes you to just outside the building, so that's probably why you overlooked it that far back.

2.) The earliest wild Sableye can be found in a couple of the floors of Moss Cavern. If you've made it to Sena Town, another optional location if I recall correctly, they seem to be the highest populace inside the part of the cave that connects directly to Sena Town. I don't remember if Compound Eyes works in this game, but that can help increase the odds of wild Pokemon that can hold items to hold them, if this Emerald-and-beyond functionality was implemented. The Thief TM can be obtained by a Rocket Grunt just outside the Wanjara Department Store. (They can also be bought if you complete a late-game optional sidequest, accessible once you have Surf, but they ain't cheap.)

3.) Just like most canon and fan games with Surf, once obtained, you're meant to retrace your steps through the region thus far to all the places you've been and use Surf to get to places with water you couldn't. The guide actually lets you do both, so I'll defer to it, since it'll be easier to read it then try to explain. You can choose if you wanna do anything optional, and what, yourself. Just hit CRTL+F and then 'rt22' (without the apostrophes) and it should lead to the exact spot of the walkthrough you should be at.

4.) 'xzx' is the code that should take you the part of the walkthrough that lists all Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, explaining when and how each can be obtained. Many can be accessed during certain badge-story points. The main walthrough will also note and walk you through when they can be obtained as they can be obtained. (I think it's off on certain ones, like Raikou, who can actually be obtained even earlier than it notes that it can.)

Well, that's the questions you had asked. Hope my response was helpful to you. :)

Just wanna say thank you to the creator of this hack, the map is beautiful and the concept is nice. I don't mind the difficulty.

EDIT : Don't play it with No$GBA, you will be able to reach the league but it will be painful, and some areas will be almost unpracticable.
