This seems like a solid hack right now. I will keep an eye on this hack and see what this game can become.. For now, I will just watch and give suggestions and ideas! ^_^

I like the originality of this hack. Also I agree with you and think the blue sprite is great. Scripts seem nice so far, maps aint too cluttered which I prefer. All in all you have a promising hack so far based on the first town anyway. I wish you good luck with this and take your time and get it right!

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'll end up sounding rude in this post anyway so...

Overall, I really don't think this hack has much going for it. Judging by your posts you don't have enough knowledge in scripting to keep it going.

Do you speak English fluently? Because it doesn't seem so by the grammar and spelling in your screenshots and posts.

Just changing the color of the overworld sprite isn't the best idea unless it's temporary and you plan on replacing it later. And it's not original, I've seen several hacks over the past few months using exactly the same colors for the overworld as you are now.

Judging by your screenshots you need to improve on mapping. The first town is too open, making it look empty. Your tall grass is too uniform, like someone comes to trim it everyday. Obviously, this doesn't happen in the middle of a route.

The palette change leaves much to be desired. The trees look bad in the shades of green you used and, unless you are changing the tree tiles, I suggest you find something that works better with the current tiles. I know this is fiction, but I've never seen or heard of a flower with green petals. Though I'm not certain about the existance of one, perhaps you should change the petals to a different color, or even back to the original shades.

I suggest you read the mapping tutorial located in the Documents and Tutorials section, reading it will improve this hack alot. Then, improve your English. It's hard to read the screenshots and your posts because of the awful grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Change the palette to something... better as well. You should also read some scripting tutorials. It should give you the knowledge needed to form basic scripts. Off that you can begin building more complex scripts and events.
I've seen alot of hacks that looked like this one, and none of them succeeded. Try improving and you may be able to keep it going. Otherwise, you may not get support from the ones that can help you most.

You know, my grammer is fine, my mapping is good, I posted Alot of my maps in the map rating thread and I got good replys, i'm probably a head of you in scripting also, so why don't you take this post and put it in the critizism thread, Becouse theres a new rule in my thread No Critizism!.
By the way look at the other post's, Theres alot of people who want to see more from my hack. So do us all a favor and just leave, dont come back to this thread, couse I dont need bad karma, and i'm pretty sure know one else want's any either.

He was fairly polite, pointed out what he thought was wrong, and gave you advice on how to make it better.
If he had blatantly flamed you, you'd have reason to be mad, but he was quite respectful in his post.
And obviously, as quite a few mistakes have pointed out, your grammar isn't perfect. that's fine. No one's is. He wasn't mocking or insulting you, he was trying to help you.

if you can't take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, then that's never a good sign.

I have all the right to be angry, i was searching through his post, and this guy has a history of critizism, i suggest you go check to.

That map looks fine for a starting town. Glad the arguing has stopped! Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Anyway, have you mapped the second town yet? Will there be a gym in the third town like there is in most of the pokemon games and if so have you decided the type of the gym yet? Anyways good luck and keep up the good work.

well, I'd suggest some variety. instead of just the plain ground tiles...add in some walkways...if you know what I mean.

also, the treeline is completely square...try moving some of the buildings just a few tiles so that you can make a little more realistic of a treeline

coin3, you've posted this in almost EVERY hack out there
if you want to advertise your hack, put something in your siggy/display name/member title etc..
but don't post VERY short messages on other people's hacks followed by advertising yours.
