Smartest Pokemon

Who do you think is the smartest pokemon?

I think Uxie is the smartest pokemon because it creadted knowledge.

"Uxie is also the most intelligent of all Pokémon, having created all knowledge in the Pokémon universe."

But some people think Alakazam is still smarter so what do you think.

Well the pokedex claims that thier are quite a few smart pokemon. But as you mentioned if uxie created knowlage so the it must've be the smartest pokemom=. Yes others, think that Alakazam - Metagross.

Pokedex entries aren't always correct and based on what I've seen from the games Uxie is far from the smartest Pokemon. Slowking seems more like the smartest Pokemon to me, well the one from the Orange Islands or maybe Mewtwo.

Uxie could be the smartest of all Pokemon! It said in the Pokedex, it could create knowledge :)

Sound weird that Arceus could create the world and Uxie itself without having any knowledge. Creating knowledge doesn't make you the most knowledgeable person, it just means you created the concept. The person who made basketball wasn't the best basketball player of all time.

I'd say Alakazam personally. It has an IQ of 5000 (which isn't even possible, I don't think, but eh).

EDIT: One could also argue the difference between intelligence and knowledge. But that's just getting too involved in Pokémon.

And psh, it's not getting too involved. It's just having an active mind.

Intelligence would be brain-smarts and the like.
Knowledge can be knowledge of the world. Knowledge of anything, really.
Knowledge really isn't the same as intelligence.
Knowledge is more of knowing about things, while intelligence is being smart.
So based on that, I'd say that Alakazam is the smartest Pokemon.

Just saw Slowkings bulbaoedia page and it said,

"Every time Slowking yawns, Shellder injects more poison into it, making it even more intelligent."

So i think Slowking is the smartest becuase if it keeps on yawning it will eventually get so smart that it would have more iq than Alakazam.

I'm pretty sure Slowking, Mewtwo, Arceus, and Alakazam are the smartest.

Uxie, well.... there are no examples of it ever being smart, so therefore I do not accept it.

and if uxie did create knowledge is possible for alakazam to surpass uxie's knowledge.

Ah, but that doesn't mean it's the smartest, it only means it's the most knowledgeable.

Wisdom, Moderation, Resourcefulness, Guile and Intuition are also a big parts of being smart. Knowledge alone isn't everything.

I don't know who the smartest pokemon is, but I'm leaning toward mew or mewtwo.

Latios/Latias because they can shapeshift into humans and can mix in with human society easily.

I think that would be Alakazam, or, as previously mentioned, Ditto.
I haven't had any experience of seeing Uxie in action in anime yet, so I don't really know what level of knowledge he has.

Not really. Mewtwo is just a clone with genetical modifications. It's not a true pokemon and unlike natural pokemon, neither Mewtwo or the other clones possess any soul or anything like that. You cannot create a soul, which is the main reason why I think Mewtwo isn't a real pokemon along with the fact it was created by humans and not born or made by Arceus or Mew.

Well... Uxie created knowledge, so he gets some Brownie points there.

Alakazam is well known for having an IQ of over 5000, so that shows he has intelligence (note, I said that and NOT knowledge)

However...

I'm just going to put this out there. Porygon, Porygon2 and Porygon-Z are all capable of moving freely in cyberspace. And that includes unlimited internet access. Therefore they will be able to Google anything you throw at them.

I think that counts as smart?
