I guess I'm on the Shanghai side for now, there's just too many facts pointing towards it.

Also, please check the validity of your facts before you post them. I removed the Desert Road and Mountain evidence, since I think they're fake.

Note that there wouldnt be any sense putting yin-yang theme in a USA or natur vs. tech theme in NYC too.
There is a lot of comotion why would the put a wogooru which may reference USA in the shangha, well ask them this, why would the put a chinese spirit fox in USA, that is zoroark and zorua, as they can both change forms and shapeshift to humans like huli-jing(chinese spirit fox) can, and to prove that it is for certain based on huli-jing, huli-jing are mostly females, and in the movie, zoroark is female! Which is obviousl yhinting to huli-jings :D
Shocking isnt it? And ppl still believe in a small place like NYC being isshu XD
Yeah i know, theres the Yin-yÝan as you pointed out, but
also as on the front page, The chinese eagle. It has the right color.
    Spoiler:

Wow, cool! I still believe in shanghai, but still that really nifty. Maybe isshu is a weird combination of shanghai and the uk. haha.

haha i dont think that it would be possible that it is uk, because there is no water on the right side and there is no lake.
But i love to see that there are more then just 2 possibilities.

I don't see why they would put a place with liberty in it's name in Shanghai but hey it's pokemon stuff never makes sense.

EDIT: look below the ice mountain on the left.

Zoroark is not based on Kyubi. And there can be more than one thing based on the same thing. It is based on the kitsune and a theater fox in Japan.

Just to say, Ninetails is the Kyubi, however Kyubi is just a type of Kitsune.

China, Japan and Korea all have almost identical myths about shape-shifting foxes. Zoroark COULD be a depiction about the chinese one, if there is something specific linking it to that (I'm no expert on Fox Spirits surprisingly :P) but it could also be based on the Japanese Myths instead.

    EDIT:

If the Lighthouse is there, does that not ruin the Liberty Statue argument? It's in the totally wrong place (Wasn't it thought to be at those two islands?).
