Mega Absol is amazing. It's. Just. Perfect. It looks so amazing and with higher attack and speed it could become useful in competitive play. Mege Mawile is also really good looking, looks so evil! I don't fancy Mega Lucario and Blaziken as much, but they're okay. Mega Ampharos is the worst looking out of the imo but Electric/Dragon is so cool I don't care that it doesn't look as great as the others. Anyone got any idea if they'll be called Mega 'mons outside Japan? Think I read somewhere about them being called 'Awakened' in English copies.

They will call them Saiyan outside of Japan, joke apart it may be a different name for each of them.

Why would you choose that? All of them look pretty boss except Mawile who looks weird and Ampharos who barely changes. And they're stronger.

Looking at the 18+ pages of mostly complaints, I can fairly say not everyone's okay with this concept. Even if they are stronger, I think a Pokemon's evolution/form should have a good design too. Some of these designs jut don't appeal to me. Plus I don't think Pokemon such as Blaziken and Lucario don't really need Megas or a boost cause they're pretty strong already. I think the concept isn't bad though, just need to get used to it.

It's an in-battle thing so your Blaziken will still spend most of its life as regular Blaziken instead of Mega Blaziken, unless you want to own people in style without the form change.

However, I think people are more concerned with the concept of new evolution to already strong Pokémon than their appearance. It's already been stated that this is "temporary". Like a Super Saiyan transformation.

The main drawback I see with them is the activation by held item. It means there are limitations in strategy. You trade flexibility for power.

Well in the latest video if you go to the official us page it shows that they transform in battle and they have some mega move.. That aside i really could care less about looks. Its about how they help your team. I am an Ampharos user. My friends hates my Amphy ='( because I trained a Defensive one. Now that it can be part Dragon (my favorite type in the game) It just became like my best friend. Along with my dragonite =P which the also hate =( its not my fault D-nites are so OP. And yes most of you have realized that Lucario and Blaziken dont really need a mega form because they where stupidly op to begin with. =( I hope they make my Swamppy mega awesome too so I can make blaziken cry.

Hey you listen, I'm MAYBE WRONG about the third game or sequels. But the thing i'm joining a week ago, that doesn't mean i'm STUPID, and just randomly go to this forum!!!!!

My friend you listen , no one said you were stupid those are your words not mine, no one said people who have been here longer than you are smarter again your words not mine. Ive never Accused anyone of not knowing anything. There are plenty of people who know more than me , maybe even you.
I don't have a problem with your opinions in fact I find them very insightful. I understand that everyone's not going to agree with each other and that's call a discussion , or debate. Frankly I love debates I mean LOVE them that's why I was captain of my debate team all thru out school.
So if you thought I was belittling your intelligence or bashing you for your opinions well you don't know me very well because I'd never do that.
The words that I have spoken were simply that You are unnecessarily hostile in your posts , its just a matter of good manners, now That could just be the Japanese and British talking in me but whatever.

Anyways I regress.
I was actually surprised that we got a video regarding the mega evolution since they weren't really announced. I mean corocoro is not released until later this month right? And what we got were leaks.
So maybe this is nintendo damage control. Anyways I can't wait to find out more next month

Isn't this suppose to be the rumor page? All I see now is stuff about Megalutions and arguments. There is hardly any rumors to talk about now, because it has been taken over by things we already know.

I will also say this, I would not completely discredit the Sushi, Potato Chip Bag, and Eeveelution yet. The guy who told us about it did say he thinks that the guy who told him said it would be the next batch. He never confirmed it 100%. I am also pretty certain that we will still get another Eeveelution. However, as you can tell they have been changing a lot around lately to surprise us.

The Potato Chip Bag & Sushi Pokémon are still plausible but I just can't see them adding a new Eeveelution, Sylveon was paired with the Fairy type with it being a new type introduced so to pair it with an Eeveelution seems pretty reasonable.

Well i am here to tell you all that that pokemon is in fact the same Mewtwo that we know and love from the first movie. His genes became unstable and he began to change and become more like Mew. Now that pokemon you see is a faster and unique form that Mewtwo can assume at will. So Mewtwo now has an alternate form. Chew on that.

I'm pretty sure it's not. It was stated in the movie that some other scientist ( not team rocket made it)

Like when gamefreak thought there are some insider, ACTUALLY the leaker are just follow gamefreak's order to leak informations

Ex: gamefreak told the leaker to leak about the fairy type, like a early announcement, so people will pay attention and discuss on forums, and spread all the internet

Pokebeach speculates Team Flare may have created the new Mewtwo in the latest movie...who knows may in game they'll have something to do with Mega evolution...it could earn them a good deal of cash.

Actually, that sounds like it could be true. I mean your logic is sound, and it is a great way to make people pay attention to the game. Someone should look into that.

why the leaker know fairy type chart. Even if the leaker is just normal person that play a gamefreak's demo, how he can know fairy type chart??? So he use fairy pokemon fight against all other type pokemon???? Even if that true, how he know that fire, psychic take half damage ...... And how the hell he know that Inkay evolves to Malamar by turning the 3ds up side down?????
AND IMPORTANTLY, why the leaker leaks everything EXCEPT MEGA POKEMON???
MAYBE gamefreak order the leaker to leak everything except mega pokemon, and leave it to corocoro for "HUGE SCOOP OF THE CENTURY"
And gamefreak also order the leaker to leak corocoro sooner.
