I agree with you Iceman...but I guess GF proably figured that would've made it too strong...

I'm still working on remembering the new chart for release. I hope I get it all figured out before the game comes out.

Found this on a Pokémon page. Luxray and Pyroar à la Lion King.

The more I see the all the new Pokemon, the more I like them. I'm really, really liking Furfrou, Meowstick, Frogadier & Quilladin a lot more than I originally did. So my starter choice may change! And the Apatasaurus fossil looks much better than the original images of it, whew.

Meowstick are not such a bad Pokémon. They're pretty cute, actually. Especially the male ones. The only thing that I don't about Meowstick is their inability to use their eyes to view things. Instead, they use their ears. If you ask me, that's pretty scary.

Some of my other favorite sixth-generation Pokémon are Gogoat, Fletchling, Spewpa, Vivillon, and Honedge.

Where did everyone hear that they cannot see out of their eyes?

Only thing I read about their ear eyes is that they are Psychic Organs that are so powerful that they keep their ears pressed shut unless they end up in danger and have to use their powers.

The organs within Meowstic's ears possess a formidable psychic power, so it usually keeps them clamped shut. But when Meowstic is threatened, it will lift its ears and release this power.
This Pokémon tends not to show its emotions to others and remain expressionless, but it seems that some Trainers love the unsociable air it puts on.

Their eyes glow when they attack with psychic attacks based on what I have seen, but nothing indicated that they use the ear eyes to see. I think they see normally through the eyes on their faces.

If you leave Furfrou's style untended for a few days, its fur will grow long and shaggy again, returning to its original look. Keep a regular grooming schedule to maintain Furfrou's style!

I have to manage my Pokemon's fur?! Nuuuu!

Also love how the official site says "Physical Attacks" while CoroCoro translation said Attacks that make Contact. Both are completely different mechanics. I dunno which would get more use, though I'm hoping its for moves that make Contact rather than "Physical Moves".

Looked it up....47 Physical Moves do not make contact....5 Special moves make contact. Physical would be better for the ability itself...but I'm conflicted cause then its a copy of my Fakemon Kandal's ability TTwTT

    Oh oh oh oh oh!

Triple Battles were confirmed for Pokemon X and Y!

On Litleo and Pyroar's page on the main site, it says Pyroar can learn Echoed Voice. It specifically says that we should try Echoed Voice in Double or Triple battles!

My favorite battle style returns in this gen! I hope Rotation make a come back as well!

Triple battles are fun. The only thing I don't like about them is that if your Pokémon's on the right side of the field, it won't be able to hit the Pokémon that's on the left. And those who are on the left won't be attack the ones on the right. In my opinion, it would've been a whole lot better if all Pokémon had the chance to just attack each other without any sort of restrictions.

I'm not a big fan of rotation battles, though. They're just too confusing for me. D:

I really, REALLY hope they give Pyroar the stats and moves he deserves... I'm quite worried about him. Surely a kickass lion doesn't deserve to be in the same BST tier as Mightyena.

Do you guys think Espurr is real? Meowstick seems quite small already for a Pokémon with a pre-evolution...however cute kittens will be adorable <3

Well, I can't picture a pre-evolution for Meowstic, but what if Meowstic is actually the pre-evolution? If I remember correctly, not all the rumors that were spread at that time were entirely accurate, right? So what if Espurr is actually Meowstic's evolution?

And same as above, I'm hoping that Pyroar will redeem cat Pokemon and be strong :)

Hehe, I was actually leaning towards Froakie from the start, and I'm really happy with Frogadier, but I'm gonna wait a bit longer before I decide. Braixen seems really interesting with her stick, I really love that she can use it in battle and I think the final evolution will be based off a witch. And while I agree that Quilladin doesn't seem like much right now, that name is so cool and it makes me very intrigued about it's final stage, I'm really hoping for a knight-like Pokemon, clad in heavy armor, Grass/Steel would be a great typing.

Well I have completely fallen in love with Meowstick! I was hoping for a new feline Pokemon for this generation. I can't decide between male and female, though. Braixen is pretty cool too, but I'm wondering whether or not they will change the design depending on the gender because it's a little... you know, feminine looking?
Frogadier is alright I suppose but Quilladin's design is just terrible! I really hope the third stage evolution makes up for it.

As for the other two, I don't really mind them. Pyroar is a little strange but not intolerable-looking.

And that concludes my opinion of the new Pokemon.

I don't see why they would need to change Braixen's design depending on gender just because it looks more feminine. Both Snivy and Chikorita's evolutionary line looks pretty feminine, but that doesn't really bother anyone. I think it's good we finally have a fire starter who isn't totally masculine. It's a nice change. Plus, if it's really based on the concept of a witch, it makes sense they head toward a design that isn't so male constructed. It's really hard to tell exactly what the three of them will look like in their final stage though. That's what I'm most interested to see, since that's the stage that usually makes it or breaks it for some people.

Just remembered that Junichi Masuda is appearing on Pokémon Smash tonight, even though he will probably just showcase what was revealed in CoroCoro there is still hopefully a small chance that we might get something new.
