I really really want to start how to do competitive battling but I really have no idea where to start.

Should I start with EV/IV training? But I don't know how to utilise them. I know what they are but... how? Do I breed with a Ditto? But then which Ditto? HA Ditto I know but then, how do you know which Ditto!?

Sigh, I feel so sad. I see a lot of members with a plus sign on their usernames, meaning I used to be friends with them (or acquaintances in the very least). However, I can't seem to remember who they are either cause of username change or just bad memory.
