Sorry about that, it turns out the latest build I have on hardware was before the particle table was expanded so I got it mixed up. The animation will be altered by the next release.

If by any chance I figure out how to fix the level up freeze glitch, I will make a Beta 2.2 (it won't have any new content though).

Also guys, please stop asking for the release date of the final version because I have absolutely no idea.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this hack. The area design is top notch, on par even with the official games. The level curve is fair, as is the difficulty. This is probably my favorite Fire Red hack. I can't wait for it to be done.

What do you mean, look more like an island?

I like that it uses the general look of Cinnabar from Gen. II, but I think that the island should be enlarged a bit so that an actual volcano could be placed on it.

A hack which I really enjoy. I loved the dance part in the ship between Red and Leaf. I look forward for the final release, keep up the good work mate!

I'm currently grinding up to double check that this is a consistent glitch, but a wild Raticate's Sucker Punch failed when my Tentacruel used Scald. Yes, I played through the beta 1 to keep Scald over Water Pulse. So at least part of this glitch is my own doing. But Scald is still programmed into the game. Is it being read as a status move rather than attacking move?

EDIT: Sucker Punch failed against Hex as well.

i need help! i can't proceed past the rock tunnel to get to lavender town! the mountain glitched in front of it! chaos help!

This glitch has been fixed already for the final release (y)
Was just pointing to an incorrect move table, so it was reading Scald as say Stealth Rock, it also read a few status moves as attacking moves for the same reason.

Hello!

My save for the last version of the beta was inside a Pokemon Center. After re-patching, I find that none of the NPCs I talk to actually respond and I can't leave the Center. Escape Ropes don't work either (the "this isn't the time to use that" message occurs).

Am I doomed to start a new game?

No,Because if you have a saved state you will not be Doomed to start a New Game.

Got the same problem.

Looks like Team Rocket tried to bury me alive. RIP Kamon though.
I cant even wallhack me through this mountain. The mountain was not like this in Beta 1.
And I tried to patch my file again with the patch in the opening post. Does not work =/
Hope these informations help somehow.

I uploaded screenshots on directupload.net but I can't post them here. Tell me if you need them.

Edit: Nevermind. Just use another FR rom and patch it with beta2. Make a savestate of your broken game and copy the name of this game. Remove your broken gba game from your folder and replace it with your newly patched game. Replace the name of the new game with the name of your old game. Now you can use your old savestate again and your game is fixed.

Btw: Thanks for the amazing game chaos! I love your ideas.

Honchkrow is unable to learn steel wing, also could you give flareon flare blitz? I know in D/P to B/W Flareon couldn't learn Flare Blitz but in X/Y it can
