Welcome to Pokémon Sweet Version, where battles are carried out with the power of dessert! Travel through a confectionate wonderland that resembles Kanto but is quite different, as those who explore will soon discover! Capture 151 candified Pokémon and fill up the pages of your Cookbook! We've spared no expense in making the experience unique, which is why there is a brand-new type chart consisting of twelve flavors of ice cream. (Apple is totally a flavor of ice cream.) And if you're sick of Kanto, you'll be pleased to know this is totally not Kanto, no matter how much it seems to be. As the world is designed to reward exploration, there's something waiting in every map that may not have been there before, whether it's a cleverly hidden item or a dreadfully bad pun. (We have plenty of those.) The PokéSweets themselves are as delicious as they look, and they look good enough to eat!

Features:

- Brand-new type chart with 12 types (Note: there is no physical/special split)
- 151 PokéSweets to capture (no trading necessary)
- PokéSweets are based on Pokémon from all five generations (plus three from Gen 6)
- Kanto has been dessertified (this is now a word)
- Most trainer battles are Double battles
- 50% more enjoyable than Fire Red
- Two rivals...okay, three, but the third guy's lame.
- Capture PokéSweets or craft them from berries
- Two factions looking to steal your sweetrolls
- New music in many areas
- Re-match the gym leaders as much as you like

As we see here, the menus have a brand new look to fit the rest of the game...

Some buildings have gotten redesigned to look less ugly...

And here we have the first new feature: displayed next to each stat is a letter representing how many EVs you have. It starts at Z and goes up to F, E, D, C, B, A, and finally S, going up a letter for every 32 EVs gained. Major props to DoesntKnowHowToPlay - I modified his IV display ASM to display EVs instead.

Another new feature is the Berry Garden, located north of Orange City. Remember the Berry Garden from Gen 6? Now you can plant any better, go do whatever for awhile, and come back to harvest MANY more berries than you started with.

What do you do with all those berries, though? Allow me to direct your attention to this building in Rainbow City.

At this location you can craft berries into blocks, poffins and puffs. This tasty treats have a variety effects, but many of them increase a particular EV. In addition a certain PokéSweet who previously evolved by level now evolves by doing a lot of baking in this place. Which Sweet is it?Aww, you can figure that out on your own.

All of these treats come with new item icons, courtesy of Channini. She's so good at this <3 NOTE: Make a save state before planting berries or making items from them. The code used to access the berry bag for selecting a berry in this way is slightly buggy.

Finally, if you were at all curious about what goes on behind the scenes, I recommend checking out this room in Rainbow City. A few neat things can be found! Oh, and speaking of Rainbow City, you no longer need to grab the Tea to get into Grapevine City, it unlocks automatically once you enter Rainbow City.

-Apple replaced Steel, so you can't poison/starve/hunger/inflictdamageovertimedebuff Apples.
-Orange replaced Fire, so Orange can't be burned.
-Sandstorm won't damage Apple, Cherry or Strawberry.

I had initially planned to wait until Channini finished up a few more graphics but I went ahead and decided to release this. I've been keeping it unreleased for too long, I feel. So, since we plan to add more in the future along with any bugfixes, it's a "Beta" for now.

It's finished, I'm only waiting on some improved graphics for some of the Pokemon.

Why don't you just add more than 151 Pokemon? Then you may be able to add Cherrim.

I really like this game so far. It's very creative. Milk for water, Ice Cream for trees, and browniesaur. All the new sprites look nice, and are creative. Kanto defiantly is worth playing through again with these new tiles. The game just looks great. Good luck!
