day five ends.
→ at last we see the light.
It was a long day. Everyone alive - not that there were many people alive - was torn between jdthebud and Bardothren. One of them was Rapunzel, the other Maleficent, and the salt was real.
The day was drawing to a close and the Fairies were preparing their Royal Coin to flip to decide who to kill, when the tide suddenly turned and the Princesses saw the truth, deciding to sentence Bardothren to death.
The Fairies expected a last struggle, but Maleficent, rather uncharacteristically, gave herself up and accepted her faith. Merriweather drew her wand to kill Maleficent once and for all, but Fauna stopped her.
"I personally think it is quite noble that you would elect to accept your fate, and admit your wrongs. It shows character, Maleficent, and I think that is a big improvement for you. Such a big improvement, in fact, that I think you should remain alive and be given the opportunity to continue to atone for your sins. You have potential, potential to be great again!"
The Fairies and Princesses alike were touched by this speech, and were willing to forgive Maleficent for her crimes.
But Merriweather killed her anyway.
And at last, the world was good again. Good had triumphed. And the Princesses erupted in many many songs of celebration.
→ Bardothren is dead. He was Maleficent. The Villains have been defeated!

All this commotion woke a sniffly Olaf up, who had been resting in bed all day. He joined in the celebration, glad that he had decided to remain alive. It would now be up to him to bring joy to the world once again.

- Most of my favourite roles died right at the start. The Fairy Godmother was my favourite role - she could choose someone to support and her win condition would be to help that player to win, and she would be able to grant nightly wishes for that player. But gimmepie was slayed by Nimsy/Prince Phillip on D1 before he even pledged allegiance to anyone. I toyed with the idea of protecting the Fairy Godmother from being slayed but decided against it. It was definitely a painful update to write though.
- Ariel was going to be given the option to change factions on D3 (based on the fact that Ariel the character wants to be part of the 'other world') but alas she also died early on.
- Thankfully Snow White remained alive lol so at least one of the unique roles could use most of their abilities.
- Olaf was indeed a fool role, but had to get lynched by D3. After D3 Olaf's wincon changed to surviving the game, as Olaf realised that with all the bad in the world, the world needed someone comical to lift the mood. So Bard if you had managed to get jd lynched, I don't think your plan to lynch Desi would have worked. :P
- Speaking of Bard, he was poisoned by me as a penalty for not submitting a night kill via PM and making me dig through the mafia group. Omi received the antidote at random, and was all too keen to give it to Bard hahaha.
- After losing her sword, Nimsy was allowed to 'confront' three players every night and one every day to try and find who had randomly received her sword (it was Lycan/Belle). She was also given the option to confront a selection of other Disney characters, of which she chose Pinocchio. I have no idea why you would ask a notorious liar where the sword is but whatever floats your boat, Nimsy.
- Gunner/Tiana had the option to send one-way anonymous letters to players which could have been a good opportunity to communicate/send information... but she instead used those letters to send all-caps, slightly-altered Disney lyrics. idk man.
- Bard/Maleficent was protected from all role investigations (including the wand), and he chose to appear as Belle when investigated by Gunner/Nina's wand.
- This was fun xoxo thanks guys! That last phase especially was lots of fun to watch.
