I absolutely love the idea of this game! I know its like 22k sprites, but I might be able to start on making some better fused sprites. For now just front ones but maybe later back sprites, It will take some time but i am willing to do it :)

I've played through the demo twice. I'm 100+ hours on moon, and im not touching my sun copy till january. Imma play the crap outta this game when your finished it. I love my Snorlax/gengar fused poke. it's insanely strong with immunity to 3 move types on top of its resists.

dont worry your hype will go back up after s/m have been out a while.

an attachment to the pokedex that shows you what pokemon are able to get in each route like what is in Black/White 2 and maybe have NPCs give rewards for certain parts being completed

I don't know if this is meant for anything or it is just an error in the code but when you are on route 3 near the bugcatcher and the rematch able trainer with the pikapuff when you are walking in the grass and walk towards the rock face there are two tiles that act as stairs where you walk up onto the rocky area and can still walk back down was wondering if anyone else has found this and if there is any plans in the future for it

Yo! I decided to do a run with all the old grass pokemon. I figured I'd stick my team on here for viewing pleasure-its not nearly as good as a team with no grass pokemon, but it was fun. Also I stuck my free end-of-demo shiny on here for giggles. I'd like to see some other teams for fusion ideas-

dont worry your hype will go back up after s/m have been out a while.

I think right about now would be a good time, cause most players have already completed the games. Then there is replay and all, but playing Infinite Fusion and then replaying S/M would probably be the best option for most players (In my eyes).

I have tried twice to post explaining the bugs I've found... Here goes try number 3...

1) There is a spot in the lowest square of the stair case leading up to Mt.Moon where you can get stuck with no way out. If you save here, you are doomed, and must start over (like I had to. I only lost 3 hours of gameplay, and I'm glad I started over)
2) There is a lady in the restaurant on the S.S. Anne that adores Growlithe and will trade a Shellder for one... Problem is, when you trade, it crashes with an error script saying "Shelder" is not a valid pokemon. It's missing an L in it lol. I have a screenshot of the exact error script, but since I signed up just to post these bugs, I'm brand new and can't post links.
3) No triumphant music upon evolution like in the original games. - This may or may not be intentional.
4) I'm not 100% sure about this one, but on using moves that hit more than once, it doesn't always show whether or not it is not/very effective. - Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't
5) You already know about the bike
6) In the safari zone, if you want to quit the safari adventure and do so by leaving the main entrance, and hit "yes" to quit, it will take you inside of the safari zone complex, but the safari zone mechanics are still running. Like the balls and steps counter. And you can't save because of this. If you hit quit again, it will work, but who knows what you can mess up if you don't quit before leaving the safari zone building (You can, I've tried while this is happening.)

I absolutely love the game, and I'd love to build my team past the 5th Gym badge! Keep up the amazing work!

Also, I downloaded the game, version 2.0... Is the update 2.4 in this download, or entirely a new update that I should be using on my game? If so, some of these bugs may already be fixed lol

2.4 is mostly bugfixes, but I still recommend using it. There are also a couple extra things (sidequests mostly) that weren't in 2.0. I'm not entirely sure if the bugs you mentioned are fixed in it.
I remember fixing the Shellder trade at some point, but idk if it was in a version I've released.
I think I'll just remove the step counter from the Safari Zone altogether. It's just too glitchy lol.

Two curiosities about the new screenshots.

First, in one, Genkazam seems to be hitting Alasian with Shadow Ball. Persian's normal typing should make it immune, unless you changed something.

Second, in the screenshot of Charking's pokédex entry, it appears as Fire/ Poison/Ground. Should Charizard be using its Fire/Flying type?

As to the shadow ball dealio, idk. Persian has been changed to Dark/Normal to include more Dark types, but that doesn't explain it. For Charking, this might be confusing because of multiple misconceptions. Charking, as the game now stands, would be a Fire/Ground type, since Fire is the primary type of the head and Ground the secondary type of the body. In the next version, the body will have two types, if it was dual type. Nidoking is Poison/Ground, so Charking gets Fire from the head and Poison/Ground from the body. As far as I know, the next version will not exhibit the dual types of the head base, so that the maximum number of types would be three, but it has been suggested that there might be quattro-type pokes in the future. Also, as the game now stands, Charizard will always fuse as a pure Fire type, so even as the body Flying type will not be present. Hopefully I understood what you meant.

I was still messing with the triple/quadruple types idea when the screenshots were taken and a it turns out, it was quite glitchy.
Honestly, I'll probably drop the feature entirely. The Essentials compiler has a set max number of possible types and this caused some Pokemon to have the wrong type. I haven't found a good way to circumvent it without redoing the entire typing system.

hey i started playing this game and love it but my problem is when i enter the ss anne my game crashes and pops up rgss player has stopped working eventho i already added it to DEP and it only happens when i enter the ss anne, any idea what could be the problem?

I think that's just "infolinks" turning random words into ad links. The words you want to click on are "Mediafire Link"

Hi, I would just like to post and say I downloaded your game, and am quite impressed with the unique idea of fusing Pok?mon together. I have played it a bit, made it just past the Viridian Forest area, and have my crew of 3 so far (2 fusions, and 1 non fused). Its interesting how the fusion evolutions work (meaning that when fused, the Pok?mon still has the fused levels that the original Pok?mon would evolve at in tact), it makes sense that it would be that way, allowing the fused Pok?mon to be able to learn all its fused counterparts moves. I am loving it so far, and I love how you can re-battle certain trainers as many times as you want, it has allowed me to train to the levels I want a bit faster than just wild battles. I cant wait to play more when I get back home from my fiends place in Red Deer (should be back within a week or so), and update to the newest demo release (I notice one came out a few days or so ago, as I was uploading mine). Cant wait to see how this game unfolds as you continue making it, I am excited. Congrats on a unique idea.

Schrroms, do you think you could slowly add in custom made fusion sprites, as it would be cool to see the sprites quality improve. I might send you one of mine if you want.

Hi guys, first of all, i need to say that my english is not the best, i'm sorry about it.

I'm playing Pokémon Infinite Fusion 2.4, and I really loved it!
In the S.S. Anne's restaurant, I traded my Growlithe for a Shellder`s NPC, and when select my Growlithe, the game crashes with a message box... Well, I don't know anything about Pokémon Essentials or whatever, but I know a little bit about programming, so... I think the script error says that there is no named "SHELDER" in the pokemon.txt file. The correct name is "SHELLDER", right? The message also says that the error occurs on the map 017.

So, in the Data folder, the file Map0017.rxdata was opened with Notepad++, a lot of codes and words appeared. I searched for "SHELDER" and replace with "SHELLDER", saved it and opened the game. I have re-entered in the restaurant, and the game crashes. (Obviously).

So, I looked in the code, and the next argument after the pokemon specie is his nickname: (PBSpecies::SHELDER,"Pearl"), so I replaced "SHELDER" with "SHELLDER", and "Pearl" whit "Pear". (I added one char in the specie and removed one char in the nickname). (PBSpecies::SHELLDER,"Pear"). Saved it and opened the game once more. When I entered the restaurant again, the game doesn't crashes and the trade occurs normally. I received my Shellder!

Thinking about that, it is possible to receive ANY pokémon with trades, just using this formula. Look:

PBSpecies::SHELDER,"Pearl"
REPLACE WITH
PBSpecies::DRATINI,"Pearl" (No changes)
PBSpecies::MEWTWO,"Pearll" (Removed/Added one char)
PBSpecies::MEW,"Pearlllll" (Removed/Added four chars)
PBSpecies::BLASTOISE,"Pea" (Added/Removed two chars)

I have tested it and works. The nickname you can remove in the menu, but the OT comes with NPC name and TRAINER MEMO shows that was traded. (No problem for me).

Looking in the code, I think it's possible to choose the ability of pokémon too: (poke.setAbility(2)), just change the number and test, but this I have not tested yet.

I know, I changed the script, so obviously will work, but should not that be encrypted?

The only reason for my comentary is for updates! Sorry for anything.

Tbh, I don't really mind people modifying the game to give themselves Pokemon, items, edit maps, walk through walls, etc. You can't trade with other people it anything like that, so I don't think it really matters. If people want to do it, then so be it. And like you said, if it helps people correct bugs themselves, then I really don't have a problem with it.
