Y'all are quick voters too! Is it normal for people to edit posts here? I find that super weird if that's the case; I would have never noticed that Desox unvoted me only after being prompted by L'Belle, which is scummy.

This is suspicious because it's very wishywashy and noncommittal (although they later commitment and being one do the only people to consider whether Desox is being in character somewhat mitigates this for me.)

I think you answered your own question. (emphasis mine)

Desox is also less scummy since people hopped on their wagon so quickly; if Desox was mafian, I would have expected much more resistence.

I have been getting them. You have to be careful though, since apparently the real messages all end with a "7" after the full stop.

There's been an awakening in the Asylum​

The Patients and Staff had all gathered together in the commons area to discuss the events of the prior night. A patient had been found dead in their room with multiple knife wounds spread throughout their body. The staff whispered of it to one another as they wheeled their patients through the room from activity to activity. From down the hall, a man walked alone, making robotic noises with his mouth with every step that he took. Eventually, the deranged patient made it to the commons area and grabbed one of the others who had gathered, staring into their eyes.

"Initiating upgrades. Dssssccchhhh woooooonkkkkk boooop. Upgrade complete."

The patient removed his hands from the new recruit and turned to continue on down the hall, past the commons room... followed closely behind by the one that he'd lifted into the air as they made robotic clicking and whirring sounds in unison.

Why do both of you opt to play entirely random this day, despite their being significant information that can be drawn from the recent happenings around Desox?

I see d1 is the same, though for some reason people went for Desox for trying to change up play tactics?

I'm not sure whether your confusion is just an act, since I personally found it pretty obvious that people aren't just voting because "Desox is trying to change play tactics". :P
Desox overacts (which is scummy) to my random vote on him with an OMGUSy vote, and so people quickly jump on the Desox wagon. Desox later withdraws his vote after being called out on it (also somewhat scummy). Your comment that "D1 is the same" strikes me as rather off, as it just doesn't seem true - we've already got some very serious votes from many people this Day, for example, which is much unlike Day 1 of PokeWolf Beta.
