I think the GS Ball should be given to the player after he finds all Johto and (maybe) all Kanto Pokemon. If they don't do that, I'd like them to give the GS Ball away as a Mystery Gift event. Then, when you'd go to the Shrine, he would become a roaming Pokemon like Cresselia. But knowing...

I havn't played Diamond in a while, but didn't somewhere in the game they mentioned a special rock being in kanto? Im sure that will be in the Kanto in these remakes, since the games take place in nearly the same time period.

I actually think that in the beginning, the game will allow the use of the time machine (which could be more like the pal park) with the Red/Blue remakes. Then, after you beat the Elite Four and get the National Dex, you can trade with R/S/E and D/P/Plt. But I don't think you will find wild...

I think you should just make Tropie grass only, unless you intend to make Tropius, a Grass/Flying type, also be ground. If Tropie were Grass/Ground, he might evolve into a tropius with earthquake o_O Im not sure if that is something you want...

There is a point to switching over. RMXP has no limitations that the GBA ROM would have.
