aren't they making a 2nd season af Haruhi? I've heard rumors.. it's like.. Kyon wakes up one day and everything is different. Yuki isn't an alien, she's just a normal really shy bookworm girl. and nobody knows who Haruhi is because she goes to another school.

That's a small capital, I live in a town of 6,700. What I am mainly wondering about is what is the county side like, is it all forest, rolling hills, or vast open plains?

XD Completely understandable. It's really been the same way for me. I've done nothing in terms of schoolwork this week, yet I also have been pretty much the opposite of productive.

As for Ekeshum, you've got people like that in every group, I think. Yeah, she might learn eventually. I'm surprised, though. Usually, when I get writers like that who blow off my reviews, they just go and post elsewhere. =/

She started a new Star Wars fic, apparently. It's a shame I'm not into Star Wars, else I'd sit down and review that one too. *shrug*

I myself have never really been a big fan of shipping anyway. I was actually considering a shipping parody, one that I haven't seen done here yet. You'll just have to wait to see which ship it is XD.

lol, that was actually the first site I visited last night. I thought that there might be a promising fic or two there, so I took a peek. I saw something about reader's choice awards, and immediately though, "oh cool, there should be something worth checking out." However, I read the first place fiction and couldn't help but grimace. I don't think I'm ever going to look there again, since if the best fiction, according to readers, has millions of grammar mistakes and whatnot, then the rest can't be any better...

I've pretty much just been typing in "Pokemon fanfics" into google and going down the list. I haven't received any word back yet from any, but they may be in a different time zone like you are.

I tried one forum called PokemonElite2000 or something. I managed to find a mod that is involved in the fanfiction section, and am waiting for a reply right now.

Yeah, we had some fun last night. I got sleepy though, so I don't know what else happened. I should probably take a look.

I know what you mean. The only difference is that I go to sleep at 2 in the morning and wake up at 8, even if I don't have to wake up until noon or so. I, to, have always had that issue.

Lol, I noticed that a while ago when I posted on another forum. I'm extremely glad that I found this one instead of staying on IGN. I took a look back a weeks ago and noticed that my thread was bumped, the old fashioned BUMP! way, from 2 months of inactivity. They have almost no quality control whatsoever, and the mod doesn't even enforce the rules. I don't think they even see if a post is even really a fan fiction.

Lol, I was seeing if I could find something funny she had written. Besides, I noticed that she was online and wanted to see what mischief she could have been up to. Turns out that she was only looking at her Sir Aaron - Hero of My Heart fiction. I went through her post history, and sadly, only found one thing that could be funny, and that was just saying that she had a crush on Sir Aaron. Ah, the fun of PC stalking.

Yeah, I know how you feel about this being a pain in the ass. Just looking at this forum frustrates me to no end. There are so many fics out there that deserve to be locked right away, but aren't because they find some little way to just barely exceed the minimum requirements.

I also know how much it sucks to write a book report on a book you hate. I remember how, in high school, I had to write a report on Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. That book made me want to shoot a thousand babies, all in the face.

Sorry I haven't replied to you for forever and a day. Thanks for the compliment about the review. I definitely want to sit down and go through one of your works (maybe your latest). I just need to find time to do it. I've mostly been going through shorter stuff right now, but since you've asked, I'd be more than happy to. =D

As for PFU, to be perfectly honest, no. In all my time reviewing stuff there, the best stuff I've stumbled across is pretty much either original fiction or stuff you can find elsewhere. (For example, Sapphire Persian's work, Negrek, Act if I recall correctly, that sort of thing. And, for that matter, Camisado, who you can also find on my own board and Shamouti Island. She's geeq_chiq there.)

Other than that, it's pretty much all crap. Cliche crap at that or crap that enters entirely new levels of WTFery. For example, the term Exploding Charizard hails from a fanfic on there. The average fanfiction is only slightly better than that.

I'm doing all right. I just got off the Week from Hell in terms of schoolwork, so now I'm catching up on all kinds of stuff I've been meaning to do. You?

lol, you're not spamming me. I had already placed character development in a category of its own. I intend to define it further with character holes and whatnot.

I'm thinking something along the lines of originality, plausibility, and the existence of holes. It's still a work in progress though. I think I already had the readability category defined well enough, so at least that one won't need any more work for a while...
