well i was i finished inserting tiles into the rom then realised it was the rom that got corrupt with anime ed so i cant use anime edit on it anymore and had to start over :( haha

I really doubt that will happen but it's the same for many genres that's had their time to shine then gone.

Also, you should play it. I know, I know, shameless plug, but maybe you could be pleasantly surprised. Or maybe you'll hate it, still.

Either way, I'd be happy if anyone here besides a few would even give it a chance. Don't feel bad for me, by the way, it should gain some popularity, but I want to impress the good hackers too, and not just random people.

I suppose you're right. I'm not used to 13 year olds when making games. They could be a lot more mature, and much less naive than in real life. Besides I'm an idiot, which has been well established for me LOL. I cause problems by pointing out peoples' douche-ness/fake-ness wherever I go. But it legitimately makes me angry.

But, on the other hand, while he has a well established game, it should NOT determine his social standing. And vice-versa.

I don't want to sound jealous, but everyone works hard on their games, and it's dumb when everyone meatrides well known people, and hates the unknowns. Just because he was a mod doesn't mean he knows what makes a fun game just by looking at it.

I want people to enjoy my game as if it were like anyone else's who is well known :/

I know he said that. But he also said he didn't like it in any way, and that it should only be considered a side project.

To me, it came off like he thought his game was the ****, and mine is terrible. And he trolled me really well. As a result, now everyone thinks I'm some jerk, when in reality, I'm just a douche to douches :D

Moral of the story: I have nothing against anyone, people just go batshit insane because I laughed at his age, (because this site is full of prepubescent kids) since it seemed like he was being an arrogant prick, and it was unfounded. I'm sure these 13- year olds are great, but I've never met any of them, and Spherical Ice really annoyed me.

Sorry, I really don't care that much about kids younger than me, or my age. And I shouldn't have brought it up, especially in the thread. But yes, in the Smash community, (Melee, Brawl) kids ARE immature and stupid, and are made fun of.

But I acknowledge here it's different. However calling my game unfinished and bad because it's different than what people here are used to, and because I haven't posted much, shows incredible immaturity. I'm immature too, obviously, but it makes me really angry that those two reasons are why people have NOTHING good to say.
