  • I want to ask you some things, if you don't mind :)

    1.- I love all your routines, and I think it would be very useful for all the Spanish hackers, so if you don't mind, can I translate all the routines resources and post them in WaH? All credits goes to you, obviously

    2.- Is there any routine that executes every single step the player does? I'm trying to implement into my hack a telephone system like the PokeGear and I thought it could be great to have a routine getting executed all the time for making the random calls, so my idea was to make that routine call a script to make a random call every 10 minutes of gameplay using the RTC (Fire Red, of course)... Any ideas?

    3.- Would it be possible to have like two separated PSS and two separated Bag Backups? I want to have a second PSS that stores only two Pokemon to turn it into a third Day Care, since I'm trying to implement lots of competitive stuff so in order to defeat some trainers you'll need to do a lot of training; the second bag I haven't decided it yet, but it's better to know if this is possible before thinking anything xD. Would this take a lot of memory from the free RAM?

    Hey I was wondering, how do u use scripting to insert missions into a hack? I need to add missions for my team rocket hack and add the script I have and get one made for the missions
    Well what I actually meant was how the national dex fixed the problem. :P I doubt I'll be able to fix it completely (no clue what I'm meant to be doing) but thanks for all the help anyways!
    Yeah, it asks if you want a nickname and says it got added to the pokedex. I would assume that it says it got placed in a box too, although I haven't tested it.

    So if i want to check a species in a players party, i would set the vars. But what would it do if the player has it? I mean in which var would it return the value?
    The main problem is the overworlds. You either have to load another overworld or sprite underneath the player (look at surf) or somehow combine two overworlds. The 16 colour limit is gonna be the hardest to overcome. Either convert the 16 colour overworlds to 256 colours on the fly (use the SWI) and then add the other layer below it or investigate whether surf uses colours outside the player palette (I don't think it does)
    After that, its pretty easy to change the music and player speed.
    Hi, I finally finished the routine, it doesnt crash the rom, and as far as I see, doesn't mess with the graphics(it does ;-;). Can I post it?

    Edit~ Any idea how to add exceptions for battles and multiple choice?

    So, I found out that 'some' textboxes dont load properly. like the multiple choice one, and the box that goes around a showsprite. Also, Oaks tutorial doesnt work ;-;. I'm still looking into it though, cuz this could be a cool feature to have.

    Check my oak tutorial codez :P it loads multiple OAMs. I can't really remember how to do it in ASM, but it's a pain
