It would be nice, but when you take into effect the timeslot per epsiode, the writers have difficulty putting in most of the NEW Pokemon, much less the old ones. I agree with you completely, but thinking realistically it would be very hard to spotlight so much Pokemon.

Yes, like Zazzymango said, all three parts of Season One: The Indigo League are on Amazon. Just search for "Pokemon Season 1" and the first three items are the three thirds of the season. I bought my season one DVDs on Amazon and I love them!

I own the first 2/3 of The Indigo League and I plan on buying the final 1/3 and possibly The Orange Islands. After that I will probably wait for the similar DVD release of Johto Journeys, if that day ever comes.

I play soccer...a lot (it pretty much runs my life), but I enjoy watching all sports.

Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto are by far the best seasons of Pokemon. The mixture of Ash, Misty, and Brock was great, Team Rocket was not so annoying, and the non-stop laughing was the cherry on top!

I believe the creators keep Ash at 10 years old as an appeal to the majority of the shows audience (most of whom are also around 10 years old...with no offence to the older viewers...myself included). It just leaves out the confusion and makes Ash more marketable and audience friendly.
