I don't know if you will read this either, Brick. Especially since I reply so late, and we are just 2 random people on the internet. I will never truly understand the circumstances you are living through right now, and I don't want to ask you about it either. I hate to force people to confess something that they don't want to share (saved for a few exceptions). But there's a glimmer of hope that you may return, so...
Do you truly believe that you cannot do anything? Just because you *think* you lost everything doesn't mean you truly lose everything. Look around you. Can't there be at least ONE person who will support you? Maybe the support you receive from that person cannot be akin to the support your (I assume *best* friend) gave you, but it will be enough to give you a little push forward to move on with life. :)
You are one of the friendliest people I met here in this community, so I really don't want you to suffer anything too horrible to overcome...
