If you have the shiny number early in your RNG, it'll be easier to replicate that time on other SRables. Basically, don't mull over the screen or walk around for 5 minutes. Just pick your effin starter. [:

Yeah. Pick your starter, battle, soft reset if it's not shiny. Do this about 100 to 200 times as fast as possible. If not shiny appears, get a new OT/ID.

The starter appears shiny when you battle it. not when you select it in the briefcase.
